A New Home Continued [closed]

Antdrop padded into SkyClan camp with a kit dangling gently from his jaws. On a patrol, him and Tinypaw ran across two small and frightened kits whoed most likely run away from home, although the tom never got a very clear answer. Finally reaching camp, Antdrop set the kit down, somewhat tired himself. "Please go get Crowstar," he meowed to his brother, sitting down.

Wow, today had sure been an adventure. First getting to patrol with his older brother and then finding two kits. Their trip back home had been quite a bit of work, since they had to carry the kits, and getting back to camp was a true relief. Laying down so the kit could get off, the short legged cat thanked StarClan for the break, until his brother asked for him. Letting out a sigh, he got up and gave his little legs a stretch. Guess I have no choice. Awkwardly walking over to the leader’s den, he stopped at the entrance. "Crowstar?" Tinypaw meowed softly, hoping he wasn’t disturbing his father.

Moonkit looked around, this place was full of new scents, cats and sights that sparkled her interest. As soon as she was put down she sat, still looking around as her ears moved to try to hear as many things as possible, if she wasn’t tired from all the running before meeting these two cats she probably would try to explore a bit on her own.

Crowstar was just relaxing in his den, when his son came in. He didn't mind being disturbed, seeing how he hadn't had much to do all day, aside from making sure things were running smoothly. The leader's yellow eyes focused on his small son that had entered his den. "Yes Tinypaw?" He wouldn't be surprised if his son was asking for some training or something.

Blazekit scrambled off of Tinypaw and searched around

"We, uh, found these two kits," he meowed, walking out of the den and back to Antdrop and the kits. He hoped his father wouldn't be angry or kick them out. Looking down to the small cats, he could tell that they were both excited, looking around with big eyes. It would've been wonderful to be a kit again.

Antdrop sat by the two kits, making sure that they wouldn't go anywhere until his father came. Both looked tired, yet excited, and he wondered what it was like to be a kit, since he didn't remember much from that young age. The black tom gave Crowstar a nod and stayed silent, anxious to see what the leader had to say.

Kits? Well he couldn't exactly turn them away.. It was in the code not to neglect them, but if they came from another clan then he was supposed to return them. The leader pushed himself up off the ground and shook out his fur slightly though it was hard since his fluffy coat like to keep some stray moss trapped with him. He could deal with it later. He walked out of his den and over to where his son sat, and where his other son lead him. "My, what do we have here?" He asked looking at the two kits, pulling out his fathering voice just for them to show he didn't mean any harm. "Who might you be? And where are you from?" He asked.

"My name is Blazekit! And I Came From A-A-A A Queen!" he said

Moonkit looked at the black tom as he walked out of his den with curiosity. She tilted her head a bit when he padded towards them, if the two cats that brought them trusted him she could trust him too, right? She smiled at him when he talked, though didn’t interrupted her brother when he decided to talk first. She waited until he was over to speak “I’m Moonkit” She meowed “We come from a place with dry grass that make you sneeze all the time. We were exploring when an adult cat hissed and threatened us, we had to flee…and we got lost…they found us after that!” She said, looking at Antdrop and Tinypaw.

Tinypaw and Antdrop sat next to each other, watching their father. They both knew the leader could be serious at times, and seeing him speak to kits like this was somewhat amusing.

They both had a kit name.. They had to be from the clans... but they didn't have a scent on them. Dry grass that made you sneeze all the time? That could be anywhere... The grass wasn't tall so it couldn't be Windclan. He didn't have much of a choice did he? He would take them in but if a clan came looking for them, he would return them. "Well Moonkit, and Blazekit you are both free to stay here, but try not to leave the camp. It's dangerous out there, and a big cat might do more than just hiss at you this time." He explained. He wanted them to be safe, and to be safe they had to stay in the camp.

"okay!" Blazekit said before curling up and closing his eyes

Moonkit smiled and nodded “Sure! I don’t want to find that cat again, but I want to explore this place…” Her eyelids started to fall, her excitement fighting with how tired she was. She wanted to know more about this place, maybe even make fiend or two “It’s really interesting…and…and…” She couldn’t even finish her sentence before she fell to the ground deep asleep, the fatigue finally winning the fight. Her quest would need to wait until her tiny body was rested enough, this night had been an adventure way too big for the two kits.

Both cats let out a relieved sigh as their father agreed to let them stay. Looking down at the kits, Antdrop could tell they were getting tired and decided it would be best to take them to the nursery. "Let's get you guys to the nursery," he meowed softly, picking up Moonkit by the scruff. Tinypaw gave Crowstar a nod and picked up Blazekit, and both toms made their way to the den where the small bundles of fur could rest.
