Featherpaw and Scorchpaw's Warrior Ceremony

Darkstar hopped up onto the rock she'd designated as the Highrock's replacement until further developments. The exercise just jumping on this barely cat-high rock was a little tiring, how would the Highrock be on a regular basis? Well, having to climb this rock was good, she supposed, as it meant cats were moving into new dens. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey, gather here for a clan meeting!"

Thinstripe 'padded' out of the warriors den, she sat down and looked at Darkstar.

OOC: Don't ask about it.

Scorchpaw marched forward with a strong gaze, almost a glare. He stood tall in front of the 'highrock,' eyes flickering calmly to the cats around him.

Ooc: mobile, Scorchfrost please

Bluesong pulled herself out of her nest and towards the clearing that Darkstar stood at. The old warrior looked weary now though pride shone brightly on her face. Featherpaw would be her last apprentice and she felt so much joy in that thought. She had been able to pass on knowledge to an apprentice who was going to be a great warrior, along with all of her other apprentices. The gray she-cat settled down and looked at the Leader.

Gentlenose sat beside her mother, watching Scorchpaw proudly. Her apprentice had trained hard for this, and he deserved it.

Thinstripe watched from the warriors den happily, her son was becoming a warrior!

Featherpaw was just returning from a little solo hunting when she heard the summons. Her eyes widened and she hurried to drop her mouse on the fresh-kill pile before trotting over. She didn't know of any other news that could merit this except... Her eyes sparkled with excitement. Mine and Scorchpaw's warrior ceremonies! We're finally ready! She waited excitedly for Darkstar to speak again.

Darkstar looked down at the two young cats, and as usual she couldn't keep the smile off of her face. Whenever she performed a ceremony, she always remembered her own, whatever it might've been. "Featherpaw, Scorchpaw, please step forward." As they did, she locked eyes with both of the young cats before she continued. "I, Darkstar, leader of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Featherpaw, Scorchpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your lives?""

Scorchpaw nodded. "I do."

OOC: I'm so sorry guys! I haven't been able to get on lately... :(

Featherpaw also nodded. "I do!"

Tuilpheart joined a little late, after finnaly calming down her kits and sat down next to thinstripe

ic- Nodding at the pair of cats, she continued. "Then by the powers of Starclan I grant you your warrior names. Featherpaw and Scorchpaw, from now on, you will be known as Featherfur and Scorchfrost. We welcome you as full warriors of Thunderclan."

As the clan called out the names of its two newest warriors, Featherpaw felt like she was going to burst with pride. "Congrats!" she called to Scorchfrost.

Scorchfrost shrugged at the she-cat, a warm smile on his face. "To you as well!"
