Tension Between Allies

Ripplepaw patrolled the river with her clan-mates, watching for Thunderclan scum who happened to wander back onto their territory. She was also on the lookout for any Skyclan cats who might have gotten a little haughty and decided they could cross the river.

Goosepaw trotted close behind Ripplepaw, his fur prickling. "I have a b-bad feeling about today," he whispered into her ear. "Maybe we sh-should've stayed home..."  He shook of the feeling. It was either him or someone else who had to go out and work instead of enjoying a nice day like this. He needed to learn how to patrol more efficiently anyway, and he'd rather not inconvenience one of his clanmates. He shook his head and trotted a bit forward, so he was neck and neck with Ripplepaw. "W-w-w... Wait!" he shouted, swearing under his breath. His stupid stutter, always tripping him up. "Look, over there!" He saw a patrol heading towards their own.

Robinpaw crept along the ground, her eyes locked on a thrush in the grass in front of her. It soon began to take of as she launched into the air and caught in just in her claws, dragging it down with her before killing it with a bite to the neck. Her eyes bright with pride at the catch as she scented the air for any other prey nearby.

Antpaw followed Robinpaw on their patrol, sniffing around for prey. "I wonder if we'll see any other clan cats." He whispered to his fellow apprentice, padding next to her. "Nice catch by the way." He added.

Jayflight crouched behind the apprentices, he growled at both of them "Keep quiet!" he hissed "Do you want them to notice us!"

Goosepaw was quite terrified, but he stepped forward. "Ex-xcuse me! You're v-very near our b-borders!" he called out to them. "We m-may share part of the t-territory, but this part is RiverC-clan's!"

A apprentice, Toadpaw was behind Goosepaw. He growled "Get off our territory or we'll attack!" he warned.

Jayflight purred "Why should we get off of your border! Seems like you aren't going to be attacking, none of you have your claws unsheathed!" Jayflight pointed out.

(Let's wait for the others that signed up~)

Ripplepaw's fur bristled as she bared her teeth at the Skyclan cats. "Wanna test that theory?" She growled aggressively, her claws sliding out.

OOC: Anyone know who hasn't posted yet?

OOC: i haven't but Briar only saves Robin from drowning and thats it XD

Goosepaw was taken aback by their attitude. "W-we're supposed t-t-to be allies! If y-you won't respect th-that, then we're glad to tr-reat you as enem-mies!" He stepped forward with the intent to attack, his claws prepared for battle. He hissed brokenly and prepared to give it his all. Nobody disrespects his clan.

Jayflight unsheathed his claws "Seems like I do want to test that theory" he hissed at Ripplepaw then turned to Goosepaw "Doesn't seem like your brave enough to even fight me!" he purred with amusement with a little laugh.

OOC: Figured out who we're missing, Frostfall and Treestep. Don't post any more until Coon and Renette get their turns, a few of us posted more than twice and they haven't gotten one yet.
