Lionpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough ot catch their own prey gather beneath the willow branch for a Clan meeting," Fishstar shouted.

Lionpaw was ready. Her massive body strode through the camp. She was a huge cat, a pure tank. Her golden fir was long and fluffy around her neck. Though she was female, she sure looked like a male lion. The egotistical she-cat could only assume the ceremony was about her, and her warrior naming. She sat right in front of Fishstar.

Fogheart sat a ways back to listen to the ceremony, a huge grin plaguing her prideful face. Her apprentice would do great things, maybe not entirely good things, but great things.

Goosepaw sat at the edge of the clearing, smiling at his friend. He was happy, because as soon as his ceremony was done, they could be mates at last!

OOC: and the climax of the plot can begin mwahahaha

"Lionpaw, please step forward," said the silver she-cat.

Lionpaw stood and stepped forward.

Dewpelt sat there quietly admiring how fierce Lionpaw looked, all of her kits were turning into great big strong warriors. Although Lionpaw was always rather hostile towards her she still loved her very dearly.

"I, Fishstar, leader of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to learn the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in turn. Lionpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code, and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" She gazed sternly down at the large apprentice.

"I do." her eyes met Fishstar's unwaiveringly.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Lionpaw, you shall now be known as Lionsong. RiverClan honours your strength and loyalty." The RiverClan gave the new warrior a congratulatory nod.

Goosepaw purred. Lionsong has a beautiful ring to it... Maybe my name will be Goosewhisper. I wouldn't be too surprised.

Lionsong dipped her head.

"Lionsong, such a great name. You will make a great warrior, I am so proud of you" Dewpelt said as she dipped her head to the massive cat.

Fogheart grinned. "Lionsong!" she cheered before purposly knocking her shoulder against her former apprentice's.
