Covering the tracks [Just for plot, no comments]

Webtail felt numb, the rain pelted his back and ran down his face as if the skies mores the apprentice in his jaws. He was thankful for the hard rain as if would hopefully wash away his scent and whatever trail had been left. With a grunt, he clawed his way up the fence and tensed at the squeaks of rats. He dropped the she-cat into the rubbish below and stared at her, he felt sick but, he had no choice. Pinepaw's murderer had hidden their scent, that left only Webtail's on the apprentice. Here, she would either be eaten by rats or just rot away, the horrid stench of the Carrionplace would mask his and Pinepaw's scents. He'd blame his new scars on a rouge and that would be it. Now he had to start his dread filled journey home.
