Battle Training with Briarpaw

"Briarpaw?" Mossheart called out, dipping her head into the apprentice den. It was finally in the afternoon and it was cool enough for them to training vigorously together.

"yes? oh wait is it training time?" he said exitedly

"Yep, I'm going to teach you a fighting move or three." Mossheart confirmed.

"Yes! I'm ready" He said preparing himself

"Good, follow me." Mossheart lead her apprentice out past the camp into a good grassy spot just beyond Carrionplace that was sheltered from the sun. She was used to patrolling and hunting in the dark, the bright sun wasn't her favourite to deal with.

"I'm ready to learn" He said

Seeing that he was ready, Mossheart took in a deep breath and thought about how Rainfire had taught her. The first move should be something easy. "I'm going to teach you a move. Watch." Mossheart raised her right forepaw in the air and swiped it hard against a rusted can that was on the floor, sending it flying. "In battle, you'd do that to your enemies head. Have a go."
