The Little Wanderer

RoseKit stayed behind her mothers paws. The nursery was quiet and warm, but she didn't think she was ready for the outside. She hid behind her mother, hoping she wouldn't have to go out, though she knew she would have to at some point. RoseKit snuck deeper into the nursery, and lay down with her head on her paws, glancing up at IvyFall. She was very curious about what was out there, however, and she had heard voices and she had seen large cats, as big as her mother and the other queens, which RoseKit didn't expect. She hadn't met any other cats, so she was mainly nervous about that. Would they like her? And anyway, it was warmer and safer in the nursery.

Ivyfall looked down at Rosekit, she was hiding behind her adorably, undeniably a little shy about leaving the nursery for the first time. Leaning her muzzle down, she purred to her kit. "Don't worry, Rosekit. They'll love you." She picked up the little kit by the scruff and dropped her outside the nursery, nudging her forward with her nose. "Go on."

She looked up at her mother and mewed, when IvyFall picked her up and dropped her just outside the nursery. She padded slowly forwards, her legs stretching and eyes blinking as she adjusted to the outside. Though she didn't go far. As soon as she saw another cat go past, she clumsily sprinted as fast as she could (Which wasn't that fast) back to her mother.

Stormkit was sitting nearby, still getting used to the Riverclan camp and the thought of her father gone

After running back to her mother, IvyFall, RoseKit had paused to get her breath back, when she noticed another kit by the nursery. She warily approached, saying quietly "H-Hello?" Then almost running back to her mother. Though she stayed put, frozen, waiting for an answer. RoseKit made absolutely sure her mother was only a few tail lengths away, so that she could run back if she felt she needed to.

ic: Pinekit was one of the older kits in the nursery. She was almost apprentice-sized! She spotted the kitten trembling behind Ivyfall and padded over, tail high. "Hey! Why are you hiding? Come play with me and the other kits!" She crouched down, blue eyes wide as she stared ahead at Rosekit. "I'm Pinekit," she purred, not recalling the other kit's name.

Stormkit padded over to the other kits as well, she hadn't trusted anyone but Fishstar until now

RoseKit's eyes widened in surprise and slight fear as three kits came towards her. "U-Um..... M-My name is....is.... RoseKit..." She replied, still trembling behind her mother. Her tail was between her legs and she wouldn't step any closer. She was a shy kit, and meeting other kits for the first time was scary for her, as she didn't have any siblings - well, she did, two of them, but they were stillborn and she had never known them.

"H-Hi R-Rosekit I'm St-Stormkit..." She Mewed
