| Goosekit coughed and placed his back paw on Lionkit's tail, sending her an apologetic yet scolding look. Lionkit's mockery of Brokenkit couldn't possibly get her very far with her denmates, but that wouldn't stop him from helping her along. But there was something about her sneer and her blatant arrogance that almost entranced him. Maybe it was just his admiration of her confidence. He broke the stare and shook the thoughts out of his head. He turned to Brokenkit and smiled widely. "We're denmates, Brokenkit. If we don't stick together, what else have we got? That includes you, Darkkit. We're family and friends." He flicked his tail, motioning for his friends to step closer. "I think we need each other more than ever," he whispered. "The elders have been gossiping about the gathering. I don't know much of anything, but there were a lot of problems. I don't really know what that means. But I feel like unity is our best friend right now. We're all RiverClan."
