Playful Evenings And Fireflies (Closed, For Berrykit)

Aspenkit laid in the Medicine Cat's den, broken leg wrapped up in some long grass. His big eyes were dim and sad as he stared at it, limp and injured. His mother had assured him it would heal, and he knew it would, but he still wasn't happy. He felt like Ivorykit now, losing a part of himself. His ears pricked as he noticed it was night. He felt lonely, and sad. He stared as Ivorykit stumbled into the den. "Hi, Ivorykit. I'm over here." He said quietly.

Ivorykit looked a little happier when she heard aspenkit, alive. She padded over to him and tilted her head. "hey aspenkit.... we are the same now." she said semi-happy semi-sad. Because she knew she hated being blind, yet you can't push away the inevitable. She was also some what happy because he would understand her some more, even if a little.

"Hiya. Yeah, we are." He chirped, somewhat cheerfully. He smiled halfway. He drew his claws out and dragged them in the dirt, bored and confused.

She noticed his sadness and said "It's ok your leg will heal soon. " . Like she was supposed to know.

"I don't think so. Some cats' legs never heal, and it hurts a lot!" He complained.

"Yea..... Don't worry! I will be here and we can still play!" she smiled a little bit more. (its ok mine are usually short)

"Yeah, that is true." He said, smiling. He got up and shook out his pelt before falling down, leg not able to support him.

She sighed as she saw him fall down. This pained her so. Ivorykit had no clue where she was going, but she tried to go to aspenkit. Her eyes were closed for that did not matter if they were open or not. She nudged him to get up again, he did. And when he did so she quickly slid by him to hold him up. "How is this?" she asked trying to make it comfortable, yet movable for him.

"Fine. Thanks." He mewed as he limped along with her help. He sighed. "Here... Um. Let's go outside. Straight forward." He instructed her calmly.

She laughed little. Luckily she had actually gone forward and not some other way. The two of them soon made it out of the medicine DOGGGGGG den. The sun was now low by the horizon, the shadows of reeds and vast hills were visible. The stretched as far as to where they were standing. The sky was a mixture of dark blue, light blue, orange, pink, and white. It was beautiful. Very romantic actually.

Aspenkit was in awe of the sunset, but felt bad that Ivorykit could not see its beauty. He slumped off of her shoulders and fell to the ground, hoisting himself up weakly with his paws. "I wish you could see this, too."He said, nearly too quiet to hear.

OOC: XD I totally forgot she had blindness..... lets say that was narrarator voice and its like describing it without her knowing.))

IC : She nodded with a sigh "It must be pretty" she almost cried at the thought of not being able to share a special moment with aspenkit.

Aspenkit let out a purr at the beauty, but the rumble stopped as he saw her sad. He touched her side with histail gently, trying to calm her. "Well, you can always imagine something, I suppose. Maybe use words and think of something nice- like a nice word." He explained calmly.

She nodded, agreeing with his point. She thought of his name.

He smiled as he watched the sunset, and playfully nudged her shoulder. "Do you want to play a game?" He asked.
