Pepper looked up at Ashcloud, this was her 'family' she didn't want to be alone again. Surely Lulu would go with Acorn and Ashcloud as well as Goldpaw would leave as well. She didn't want that again, being left alone.

Goldpaw saw Pepper's worried face and smiled sadly down at the kit. "Don't worry Pepper, just because Wisteriasky didn't want Lulu and Acorn doesn't mean I don't. You'll all stay with me from now on. Err well again that is. We have to stick together for protection, and We can all help my grandpa with with the tending to the herbs. We'll be like a clan again and you can now have the hay loft again. Grandpa, what do you say? Can we have Speedclan back in the Barn?" Goldpaw's meowed her wide pale light green eyes looked pleadingly into Ashcloud's yellow(?) ones.

Lulu's looked back "But ThunderClan I trying to take it..." she reminded Goldpaw "What should we do?"

Ashcloud looked up from his daughter's corpse, green eyes lined with red. He nodded silently for a moment. "Thunderclan does not know yet what has happened. They may still try to attack Speedclan." He gazed at his granddaughter for a moment. "As long as Speedclan is not considered the culprit for.." the tom shifted his paws, noticing that they had become bloody as well. "..This, you should be safe at the barn." It was difficult to think of anything else but the Skyclan warrior's deed.

Goldpaw nodded. "We should bring hr back to the barn and clean her up. Maybe then we should take her to gramma?" The cinnamon tabby meowed flicking her tail. Sh turned and quickly closed her aunts eyes.

Pepper looked up at Goldpaw from Wisteriasky's fur. "What will happen to her now?" She asked quietly, backing away from Wisteriasky to let the others do what they wanted. "Surely that can't just be it.." Pepper pressed close to Goldpaw, keeping her gaze locked on the tabby.

Ashcloud didn't reply for a moment, still overcome with grief. "Yes, there," his throat throbbed trying to force down a sob. "There is mint and lavender. And yes, Mistfeather needs to know." And with that, the father placed his daughter on his back and headed they way he came.
