The fire burns again

Night crouched in some tall grass, trying to use it to disguise his scent, despite the strong smell the grass made. Tornado crouched in it with him. Night was angry with ShadowClan. He was misunderstood once he left a moon ago. He left because he knew ShadowClan can't do well with traitors like him. He and Tornado waited for three cats to walk by, in a patrol, or just walking around.

OOC: Before the fighting starts, would Tornado and Night have rogue health, or normal health, since their in a rogue clan? Because that's an important detail.

Eaglepaw walked by with three others her ears pricked up as she heard a rustle in the bushes

Webpaw looked around as he felt the springy pine needles beneath his paw, he scented the air for anything as he walked with the other apprentices.

Night watched as the two apprentices arrived. He wondered why these apprentices were walking around, but that's not important. Tornado also watched. They both waited for the third cat.

OOC: Tornado would have rogue health while Night would have apprentice health.

IC: Tigerpaw took up the flank behind Eaglepaw and Webpaw. It was a boring old patrol, even with her denmates. She wanted to do something interesting like cross a border or chase a kittypet. Or kill rats, that was fun too. There was pretty much nothing suspicious happening, either. Thrushstar was just a crazy old badger, and it was time for her father to take his place. She knocked a pebble to the side with a paw as she walked, carelessly being noisy even though her mentor had emphasized stealth in her training.

IC: Night smirked as the third apprentice came. Tigerpaw wanted to have something intresting, and he'll do something interesting. After about 10 seconds, he jumped out of the tall grass, and leaped onto Eaglepaw, and pinned her down.

Night used Leap-and-hold on Eaglepaw, dealing 14 damage and costing 10 stamina.

Webpaw stiffened as he saw the rogues attack his denmates, he looked to where they had appeared from before looking to his denmates with a growl rising in his throat.

OOC: My apologies, I wasn't aware that anything had happened yet ;-; Lettuceturtle, do you know how to use the battle system? And ThinStripe, Night can’t be hurt while using Leap-and-Hold; I think you’re confusing it with Teeth Grip. Please also try to keep your turn to one post.

IC: Tigerpaw shrieked in surprise at the sudden attack by the rogues. Where had they come from? She didn't have time to think before she was struck by the older tom. She only had her instincts now. The small tabby reacted by clenching the tom’s tail between her fangs and pulling as hard as she could manage.

Tigerpaw used Tail Yank, dealing 10 damage and using 10 stamina. Tornado is stunned for one turn.
