How not to be Dead

A big white cat sat in an open area. He held a slightly annoyed look on his face. Everything was bright, even he stuck out against this territory. This is why he didn't really care for having white fur but what could he do about it? The bulky tom stood up, and dug his claws into the earth. So he was going to have a visitor soon, huh? It would be the first time in a long time. It would be so wonderful to see someone from his clan. For far too long did he have to sit and watch with nothing to do, no one to talk to. Did he even remember how to talk? That would be determined once his visitor shows up.

Deadpaw opened his eyes in a bright yet dreary forest. He scented cat and instinctively followed it until he emerged into an open clearing with a large, white tom sitting in its center. He padded forward confidently. "Who are you? And what is this place?" he asked assertively.

Ah so there he was. The white tom sat down in front of the apprentice staying calm. "I am Whitefur. A former warrior of Thunderclan. You are the first visitor I have had in a while Deadpaw. The big tom said. So he did remember how to talk. "I have seen that you wish to be stronger, and a great warrior." The tom's voice was deep, and rumble slightly. "I can help you with that if you so wish." He said.

Deadpaw listened to this cats explanation and offer. "Well, yes I dream of being strong and serving my Clan best as I can. How can you help me?" Deadpaw asked cautiously yet with confidence. it seemed that this tom had been around anyone for quite a while.

The white warrior cleared his throat before speaking again. Man he was going to have to get used to this. "I can train you. More so than the mentors back at your clan. I offer stronger moves to learn as well as knew ones that none of the warriors would know." Whitefur said. He wasn't good at this talking thing. He had been silent for far too many moons.

Deadpaw listened and considered his offer for a moment, before a thought came to mind. "Okay, Ill train with you." he mewed before continuing. "Only if you can help me with one thing. I would like to find out who killed my first mentor, Blacktail." he asked. He wasn't close to many cats, and Blacktail was one of the few.

A small chuckle rumbled out of the tom's chest. "I can do that." He said. Though he wasn't going to give the answer just yet, he wanted the apprentice to be devoted to training. "I will give you the answer in time. This training might help you to seek out your revenge." The tom answered.

"Anything for Blacktail." Deadpaw replied. "When do we start?" he asked impatiently. Deadpaw had a few ideas on who might have killed him, but they were all much stronger than him. I'll need his help he thought.

Whitefur took a moment to gauge how much time they had left. It was plenty of time to practice a few moves. "We have some time for a small amount of practicing. That is if you wish to start now." The former Thunderclan warrior was fine with waiting another night. It was nothing compared to the moons of waiting to see someone again. He could last another day.

"Okay, what should I do first?" Deadpaw asked.

OOC:Shortness

"Well first of all I want to see how strong you are." Whitefur said. "Attack me." He commanded the apprentice. If he was already strong then there wouldn't be a lot of work to do.

"Okay" Deadpaw replied. He prepared himself and looked at Whitefur. He ran as fast as he could and tackled into him with as much force as he could muster.

The warrior wasn't going to attack himself he just wanted to see what the apprentice had in him. He was pretty strong but there was some work to be done. The white tom quickly straightened himself out, shoving the apprentice off him. "Nicely done. Attack me one more time, then it will be time to send you back."

Deadpaw huffed and replied "Okay!" assertively. He ran away for just a moment before turning back and leaping onto Whitefur. He proceeded to hold Whitefur down with his paws while he raked him with his back paws, claws unsheathed.

The white tom let out a small huff as he hit the ground from the apprentice jumping on him. If he wanted he could have avoided all of this but he wanted to see just how strong the apprentice was. The familiar sting of claws going down is back was nice to feel. It reminded him of why he was here, and what his mission was. "Good." He said before shoving the apprentice off. "It's time for me to go. I will see you back here in a few nights." Whitefur said before turning and disappearing into the foggy forest.
