Owlpaw and Soulpaw's Warrior Ceremonies

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

Soulpaw padded out of the apprentices den and sat down beneath the high rock and waited.

Owlpaw followed behind Soulpaw, her head held high. She was getting too big for her nest- so much that she would find herself kicking her denmates in her sleep. She sat underneath the Jaggedrock silently.

OOC: Names?

"Tonight we gather to make these two apprentices warriors," Thrushstar said before looking down at both of them. "Owlpaw, Soulpaw, please step forward."

IC:Soulpaw stepped forward and flicked his tail in delight.

ooc: Owlfang, please ^^

ic: Owlpaw stepped forward, staring at Thrushstar solemnly.

He looked down at them, studying both of them for a moment before continuing. "Soulpaw, Owlpaw, do you both promise to serve and protect this clan, as well as uphold the warrior code even at the cost of your own life?" he asked.

"I do!" Soulpaw meowed flicking his tail in excitement.

The tortoiseshell dipped her head. "I do."

Thrushstar didn't respond immediately. Instead, he paused, looking over both of them carefully. He really wanted to believe that they meant what they said, but it was hard to. He knew both of them had worked hard to get to this point, and if this wasn't supposed to happen, Starclan would have said something by now right? Probably not. They didn't say much anymore. "Then by the powers of Starclan, I grant you your warrior names. Owlpaw, from now on you will be known as Owlfang. Soulpaw, you will be known as Soulcloud. We welcome you both as full warriors of Shadowclan." He finished speaking and quickly leaped down, letting the rest of the gathered cats to celebrate the new warriors.
