Feathertail's Elder Ceremony

Falconstar made his way to the top of the Tallrock and called out, "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Tallrock for a clan meeting!"

Feathertail padded out of the warriors den for the last time. She was getting too old for all of the running, and righting. Not to mention her muzzle was starting to gray more, even though she was already gray. She sat down and looked up at her father wondering how he lasted so long.

Looking down upon his daughter, he smirked dryly to himself about the strange event of watching his own kit heading to the elder's den before he was in the ground. Maybe he'd been around too long. "Feathertail, is it your wish to retire from the ranks of the warriors and join the elder's den?"

"It is." She said simply. She hoped Saltpaw wouldn't be too disappointed in her choice.

"Very well then." Falconstar nodded before continuing. "You have served WindClan very well for a long time, and you deserve the rest."
