Sharing the Homemade Casserole [WC/SC/SkC]

Kestrelpaw hissed, turning on the warrior. "And you're weak enough to admit in front of two clan leaders your opinion. If we have SkyClan territory or not is not up to you, but Falconstar." Kestrelpaw flicked his tail, aggravation raising the fur along his spine. "A leader who can't fight his own battles is weak and I don't respect weakness." To be honest, the outburst and rudeness was quite out of character, but there was something about Breezestar and SkyClan that really ground his gears, even though he couldn't put his paw on it. Perhaps it was growing pains, or unease of having so little friends even though he was friendly and loyal and helpful to everybody. But the fact of the matter is, he was having an outburst.

OoC: Nothing personal Ebs, just character development because he's been boring and I need some aggression and some flaws so that's his reasoning and what not ;-;

Gorsefeather, drawn out by the commotion in the clearing, yawned widely as he approached this gathering of cats. The medicine cat was just around to hear Blizzardwind and Kestrelpaw's little spat, ah to be young and stupid again. Deliberately wedging himself between the arguing toms, Gorsefeather flicked the apprentice over the head with his tail and stomped down on the warrior's paw, a silent rebuke for their little display in front of the enemy. There was a time and place for squabbling and it certainly wasn't in front of two foreign leaders and deputies. He, in particular, was disappointed that Blizzardwind would have the nerve to contradict Falconstar's will in front of the enemy, it seemed even kits were allowed to be warriors these days. Littlepath, his own brother, was a brash, rude piece of work, but even he wouldn't have questioned their leader like this in front of strangers.

"Pinepaw, Saltpaw, Kestrelpaw, go to my den and help Emberleaf sort out moss for the elders." He ordered the apprentices, before greeting the gathering leaders and deputies with a respectful dip of his head. "Blizzardwind, I think Withersnap was looking for you." The tom continued meaningful, his gentle tone in stark contradiction with his steely gaze.

"Thanks a lot, Kestrelpaw. Our first real meet with the leaders of two different clans and you ruin it. All thanks to your loud, yappin' mouth!" Pinepaw hissed, targeting his anger at Kestrelpaw. The tom briskly, though gently, shoved his fellow apprentices shoulder. He soon turn to Saltpaw. "Great. This is gonna suck." He growled.

"You met a leader of kittypets." Kestrel paw replied hautily, shoving the smaller apprentice strongly back when he was nudged. Angrily, he flicked his tail and strode off to the medicine cat den slowly, pausing to glare at Breezestar.

Nodding his thanks to Feathertail, Falconstar stepped out of his den and padded over to the contingent from ShadowClan and SkyClan. Stopping in front of them, he raised an eyebrow in curiosity, still giving off the aura of a wizened leader despite his obviously-advancing age. "Thrushstar, Breezestar," he acknowledged in turn, dipping his head slightly. "I doubt you came all this way for idle conversation. What brings you to the moors?" Despite those words, he had a strong feeling that he knew exactly why they were here.

Thrushstar kept his silence as they waited for the Windclan leader, watching the apprentices and other Windclan cats as they gathered in the... clearing? Everything seemed clear. Sure they grass had been stomped down some to make it a little more open but it was throwing him for a bit of a loop. Yet the leader kept his composure and was reassured by his companions as Falconstar finally made an appearance. It was weird seeing the old Windclan leader in broad daylight. It somehow made him age more than he already showed. Dipping his head respectfully, Thrushstar looked back up, not breaking eye contact. "We come here peacefully," he started. It sounded like a silly thing to say but with so many eyes on them, he wanted to make sure everyone fully understood. "We are here for Skyclan's camp." Very simple. No reason to beat around the bush.
