Poppykit, Rainkit, and Pebblekit's Ceremony

It was unfair how fast that kits had seemed to grow up. He was saddened, and yet thrilled at the same time, and couldn't help it was the strangest feeling. He had other children before, with his old mate, bless her place in StarClan, but most of their own had died as kits, shortly after being attacked the first time by WindClan and ThunderClan. To be able to send his three children now to train as apprentices in this time of madness was nothing short of a blessing, both for him and for Fawnspirit.

And so his head was held high in pride as he walked into the center of the clearing and called out, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey, join here for a clan meeting!"

Pebblekit sprinted over to her father, her brown and white pelt shimmering in the sun that was rare this time of the season. She was aware that she was to be made an apprentice today- she'd been counting the moons. The nursery had been nice, but she wanted bigger, better things. She had never seen her true home in Skyclan, as Windclan had stolen it away. That was cruel, in her mind and most others'. She sat front and center, a bright smile on her face.

Sandfeather padded over to Breezestar and sat down energetically. More apprentices! It was always great to gain more apprentices, especially with the clan so small. But she wondered, how exactly, they'd be able to keep up with all these new apprentices.

poppypaw totally wasn't poppypaw she was poppykit and her mentor wasn't crowflight because the ceremony didn't take place thanks to icee's stupidity and lack of attention she loved her daddy so much

"Poppykit, Rainkit, and Pebblekit, you all have reached the age of six moons and it's time you were all apprenticed. Please, step forward." The tom, watching proudly as he waited for them do so, then went on. "From this day forth until you have earned your warrior name, you three will be known as Poppypaw, Rainpaw, and Pebblepaw. Poppypaw, Crowflight will be your mentor. Rainpaw, your mentor will be Mapledrop. Pebblepaw, you will be mentored by Sandfeather. I trust that they will pass on all their knowledge of SkyClan and make you great warriors in time."

Pebblekit stepped forward, and listened as her father spoke those words. Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! I'm an apprentice! The newly named Pebblepaw jumped with glee, and ran to Sandfeather. "I'm so excited to train with you!" She squealed, eyes glimmering, a big smile on her face.

Sandfeather looked at Pebblepaw and gave her a big smile.
"Here's a secret, I'm going to make you the best warrior ever," Sandfeather murmured.
