Barkkit,meet your new home

Barkkit,after a dreamless sleep,walked out of the nursery.When he looked around,his eyes widened at the number of cats there.How can so many cats live in one place? he thought.Then he saw a cinnimon colored cat,with black ears walked towards him.The cat was the same size as him,and Barkkit nearly jumped as he sat down next to him

Dunepaw was eating a squirell wondering about his training,not caring about the taste of the prey he was actually eating.Where's my mentor?he thought.She hasn't taken me on a patrol or hunting or battle training.Just then,he saw a grey colored kit who was almost ready to be a apprentince walk out of the nursery.He'd never seen him beofre,but decided to talk to him.He pawed his way over and sat down next to him."Hi,how are you?"He asked.The kit replied "Hello." then they somehow looked at the passing cats in calm silence.

Rainfire had come in from patrol when he saw his adopted son mingling with the apprentice Dunepaw. Purring he padded up with an old Thrush in his jaws, "Hiya kit! Hungry? How have you been settling in?" He mewed curious if he was being mistreated any.

Mudpaw trotted over to Rainfire and the kit. The handsome tom sat down, looking at Barkkit. "Well, aren't you a cutie." He purred.

Barkkit looked at his,well....fatherhe decided."I'm fine" he mewed."And yes!I'm really hungry!".Then he looked at Mudpaw,and suddenly grew shy.He didn't know what to say to that.

Rainfire purred and nodded, with a swish of his thin tail he turned and padded to the fresh-kill pile to retrieve his newly caught Thrush. The extremely tall ginger and black tom nosed through the pile and found it, turning he saw his son being shy. He'll grow out of that surely, Shadowclan cats show no fear. Nuzzling his son to ease his fright, he dropped the old bird. "Here, eat this, you gotta grow tall and strong. It's okay to talk to new cats don't show fear, Shadowclan cats are known for having no fear! Well at least in front of enemies." He mewed softly to reassure his son. 
Sitting besides Barkkit he eyed the apprentices gathered, "How's training coming along Dunepaw, Mudpaw?" He mewed curious.

Mudpaw could tell Barkkit was shy and didn't push any further. He turned his head towards Rainfire. "Very well actually, I am due to receive my warrior ceremony soon. Hopefully the next day or so." He fluffed his fur, it shining in the glistening sun.
