The lone cat sits on the lone stump [open]

Smokepelt found his heart feeling alone and empty, he thought it best to talk a stroll. He soon came across a tree stump. You look just as lonely as I do. he jumped on top of it, admiring the view. The tom sat there for a few moments before he heard a rustle in the tall grass. He crouched low on the stump, hopefully not to be spotted.

Well, it wasn't necessarily his fault. After all, he was new to this "hunting" thing, and he chased a large fish all the way down the stream by Windclan's territory. Then, in an act to scout out where he was, he used a hill and rolled down before a stump- with a cat on it. He stared up, his mouth in a straight line, as he locked eyes with the newcomer.

"Um, hi."

Smokepelt peered his head over the side of the stump, looking at the cat.

ooc-wait, who is this?

Fallenpaw silently stared at him for a brief moment after saying the awkward hello. "Um, I'm Fallenpaw... I seem to have gotten lost." He said quietly looking at his surroundings.

"Oh hello, I don't think I've seen you around here before." the tom sat up on the stump, looking down at the apprentice.


ooc-sorry, is the lone stump in WC territory? and is Fallenpaw a RC cat?

OOC- yes and yes

ic- "Yeah, exactly. I'm kind of lost. I was made an apprentice two days ago and I was chasin' prey down the stream and I fell down that hill and I don't exactly know where I am..." He said, kind of scared. It must have been Windclan territory because it had open moors and wind flying free. He hated the wind on his face. And they ate rabbits, which weren't bad. He liked them, but only if they were on his territory.

The tom was a nervous wreck, and he was scared he was breaking something of the code. But eh, didn't matter. He was young, curious- and the tom didn't seem to be mad anyway. So, he continued to stare.

Smokepelt felt somewhat awkward cause of the way the apprentice was staring at him. "Well um, would you like me to show you the way back to your territory?" he took a moment to think. This apprentice means no harm, but I wouldn't want my brother to get mad... "Or, uh, you could sit up here with me?"

ooc-btw, no offence (i don't know if it matters) but the color u are using is Troutstep's color (and he is also in RC, so I think it does matter) :)

ooc- it doesn't really matter, it's just a color...

ic- The apprentice shrugged. "Um, stump, I guess." He mewed. He liked the stump. It was bigger than him, and wide. "What's your clan?

"WindClan, as you can probably tell. Your RiverClan? You reek of fish." he chuckled.

ooc- ok, just making sure ;)

Fallenpaw smiled a bit. "Yeah, just making sure. And yes, I do smell of fish. Delicious fish." He said with a smirk. The tom surveyed the landscape- the colors of autumn were more beautiful by his territory, but he enjoyed the clear, sunny, vibrant blue of the sky being viewed on an open end on this particular territory. "What's your name? I'm Fallenpaw." He said quietly.

"Smokepelt. Son of Icestorm, and proud WindClaner." he lashed his tail. "Come here, up on this stump. Maybe you'll be able to find your way home better." Smokepelt felt very uneasy about letting this apprentice possibly see his territory, to a RiverClan cat, all they could depict from the territory was grass and hills.

"Oh, cool. I'm Fallenpaw, as previously said. I'm the son of Whitefoot and Tansyfoot. Of Riverclan, yes." He looked at the stump and climbed up, surveying the land for a way home. He turned to where he'd come from- that way. He spotted the river up ahead, just below the hill. "Oh, I see the river! I think I should go back soon, or Whitefoot or one of your clan mates will kill me." He said, a bit frightened.

"Yes, you probably should get going." He sniffed the air. Is that my father's scent? Oh no! Smokepelt's tone was a little more urgent this time. "Yes, you need to go now! Hurry and good luck on your travels! May we meet again during a gathering!" When the apprentice got off the stump, Smokepelt rolled all over it, covering up the strong RiverClan scent, he knew how strict Icestorm was with rouges and other clan cats.

Icestorm was hunting when he thought he might find Smokepelt at the tree stump. His hunch was right. "Hello Smokepelt. I thought I might find you here." he purred.

As Fallenpaw jumped away, he watched a larger cat walk in, probably a warrior, like Smokepelt. He hid in the grass, and then, bolted off up the hill. He thought that they may see him, so he ran faster, and ended up tripping down the bottom of the hill onto the side of the bank, where he fell into the river. Thankfully, he could swim a bit. He swam about a tails length to the shore and continued to run home. Hmm. I wonder who that was. Hope I see him at a Gathering, he seems very nice.
