Song's New Start (open to Tcers)

It was the next the day after Song had only arrived. She had glanced around quietly. She still breifly wondered why her mother wanted her to stay here to begin with but really she knew why. Song well now Songkit  glanced around quietly. The silver and grey long furred kit was curious about her new surroundings and wanted to know more about it. She smiled a bit her tail flicking before she heard approaching pawsteps.

Silverkit looked at Songkit. She looks so much like me! If only I had the bravery to meet her... Her blue eyes sparkled with wonder at the kit as she played. She was so graceful, so swift, and she looked so fun. Silverkit's tail flickered in excitement that she could barely contain.One day I will play with her.

Songkit...that rouge kit...she looks so much like...Softsong...Frozenflame gazed with saddened eyes at the new she-kit. She...she has to be a descendant of Softsong. There is no way this is possible...His thoughts drifted off as he saw Silverkit watching her as well. The older warrior decided to go over and figure everything out about who and where Songkit came from. The grey and ginger tom padded over to her and sat down, his dim amber gaze looking down at her. "Hello, I'm Frozenflame. You are Songkit, right?" He asked. The warrior tried to think back to when Songkit came...he couldn't remember if a warrior or someone brought her into camp. For the past week, Frozenflame stayed out of camp all day, hunting as much prey as he could in Leaf-fall.

Songkit blinked and looked up at the warrior. The silver and grey she kit blinked and mewed"yeah. ..I'm Song....er Songkit....sorry I'm not used to the change in my name " She admitted.

Frozenflame squinted at her in disbelief. After hearing the name out loud, something clicked in his brain. Songkit...Softsong...the ending of Softsong's name is the name of this kit. This can't be a quiescence, because the two look the exact same. Someone named her this on purpose and it had to of been her mother. The only rouge in Duskfall's linage is Spirit, so this has to be one of her kits. The warrior smiled, proud that he had figured it out so quickly. "Oh, it's alright, don't stress about it. You'll get the hang of your new name soon enough." Frozenflame let his gaze wander to Silverkit. "Hey, why don't you go see if Silverkit wants to play. She looks like she is jumping out of her skin in excitement, go say hi."

Songkit blinked then "you really think so?"She asked somewhat quietly as she looked at Frozenflame. She then glanced to Silver kit hesitantly and slowly she padded over to her quietly.

Silverkit was gazing off, observing the other cats around camp when she heard paw-steps. Small ones. She quickly turned around to see Songkit bounding toward her. No, no, no, she can't be coming to me! I'm too simple for her. But it was no doubt. Songkit was coming towards her. Silverkit immediately jumped up in excitement. "H-hi!" She mewed.

Songkit blinked then smiled a bit " hi there I'm Songkit " She mewed.

She's actually talking to me! "My name is Silverkit." She gave herself a quick stretch, a quirk of her tail, and looked around. "So I was wondering... if you wanted... to maybe... play?" Silverkit looked at her paws, feeling very shy.

"Sure I'd love to play " She mewed smiling a bit."it's also nice to meet you " she mewed

Silverkit ran around the middle of camp in a circle, ran back to Songkit, and skidded to a halt. "How was that?" Silverkit asked, panting.

Songkit blinked and tilted her head to the side. She didn't quite understand what she did "what did you do?"she asked.

"I ran! You should try it. It's basically really fast walking." She told Songkit. "Here, let me show you again." And once again, her heart beating out of her chest, she ran around in a circle a few times, her energy being brought down by every lap. She finally skidded to a stop, panting like a wild dog. "See...?"

Frozenflame watched from where he sat, not bothering to hide the amusement that shone in his amber eyes. What a cute friendship forming, he thought as he watched Silverkit running in a circle.

Songkit blinked her tail flicking"ok ..."She said just blinking as she watched.
