The Fawn who loves the Marsh

Fawnwillow stretched in the cozy nursery, nudging her sweet son Marshkit awake she whispered gently. "Marshkit dear would you like to play outside or hear a story? A young warrior can't sleep all day!" She purred as she groomed his messy pelt. Gently swaying her thick brown tail, and gazing at her son she couldn't help but be reminded of Larktalon, Soon, not yet. After the gathering she would venture to fourtrees, where the scents still were jumbled to show Larktalon their son.

The tiny tom woke up to his mothers nudging and kind words. He missed everything but, "outside". "Good Morning Mommy. I Would Love To Go Outside!" He purred, and rubbed against his mother. He walked to the exit of the nursery, very excited.

Stiffly she stood, shaking out her fur she followed her son outside the nursery into the chilly morning. Fluffing out her soft brown and white fur she sat and watched her kit wander, turning her head she saw a stray bit of moss and rolled it into a ball. "Darling would you like to play?"

"Yes Mommy!" He mewed and bounced up and down. He squealed as it rolled to him. He tossed it back, happy and excited.

Fawnwillow purred as she crouched down to swat it back, Memories of her playing like this with Mothpaw and Whitekit came flooding back. Out of breath she rolled over onto the soft dirt.

He tossed it back with a happy cheer before his mother rolled over. "Mommy, are you okay?" He asked, a little worried.

She kept very still, then, when he got a little closer she jumped up and tackled him. Covering him in affectionate licks.

"Eek!" He laughed as he fell back. "Ha hahaha!" He was bursting laughing. He purred and mewed little giggles. He licked his mother's cheek back, and smiled. "Funny, mommy! Tee-hee!"

OOC: I saw that it is open now. Hope I can pop in

IC: Bluepaw sat in front of the apprentice's den and watched with an amused smile.

OOC~ Yeah, I only had it closed for a bit so I could have mom and son time.

Fawnwillow's heart leapt with happiness, My son is like me! She adored his sweet manner, as she groomed him lovingly. Spotting Bluepaw she half sat up and greeted the she-cat, nudging her son she mewed softly. "Would you like to play with Bluepaw? She's very nice and i'll be here too" Her green eyes were bright with pleasure. I don't want him to grow up! She will surely miss these days playing with her kits.

"Ye!" He mewed. He looked at the she-cat. She was pretty. "Hi Bluepaw!" He squeaked happily. "Do you want to play Moss Ball with us?"

Bluepaw looked up with surprise.
"Sure!" She mewed. She knew Goldenflame could hold back her training until sun high. Blue paw trotted over and looked at them with a big smile.

Marshkit smiled a big toothy grin and smacked the moss ball, too hard for a kit but the perfect velocity for an apprentice.

Bluepaw reared up on her hind legs and batted it back to Marshkit.

OOC: Is fawnwillow gonna play too or nah?

IC: Marshkit squealed and jumped on the soft green moss ball, before twisting it around and hopping off. His projectile range was at her paws, but he batted it next to her by mistake.
