Frostkit's Apprentice Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to capture their own prey gather underneath Jaggedrock for a clan meeting!" Thrushstar yowled.

The snowy she-cat padded out into the clearing after being instructed to do so from some queens. There was no need for her mother to clean her fur, for it was already cleaned; Frostkit kept it in mint condition all of the time. She took a spot underneath the Jaggedrock and sat down, putting her tail over her paws. She started to doze off into space, like how she often did at random times.

"Tonight we gather to make this kit an apprentice," Thrushstar said, looking down at Frostkit. "Frostkit, from today until you receive your warrior name, you shall be known as Frostpaw. Your mentor will be Magpiewing. May he teach you everything he knows." With that, Thrushstar leaped off of the rock to let the rest of the clan finish the ceremony.

My first apprentice! Magpiewing stepped forward from the croud and towards the white she-cat. "Congratulations Frostpaw! I'll teach you all I know! My father was a great mentor, and I hope to be just like he was," the black tom purred, pressing his nose against the apprentice's. He would make his father and clan proud.
