The final test~

Fawnwillow had a difficult time leaving her daughters alone in the nursery, but it was her duty to fully complete Goldenpaw's training. Pacing just outside camp she thought about what he could do for his assessment, while also wondering if her kits were awake yet. Recognizing the tom's footsteps she turned and curled her tail in delight.

Goldenpaw blinked and smiled gently at his mentor/cousin(?). He meowed, "Hello, Fawnwillow! What are we doing today?" He purred.

OOC: Shortness and I figured they were cousins since Hawkstrike and Littlefang are siblings and Sunpelt is the son of Littlefang so Sunpelt mated with Cloverpool and gave birth to Goldenpaw and Minnowpaw. Wow. Crazy tree right there.

Fawnwillow sat down and curled her tail around her neatly, "Today is your final assessment, and as you know, if you do well you will become a full warrior of Thunderclan" She mewed in a regal voice. On the inside she was jumping for joy. Her green gaze turned fully to Goldenpaw she continued, "First, you must catch one squirrel, one mouse, and one bird. All before Sunhigh. Then you will meet me under the great oak for the next part." She flicked her tail, allowing him to leave and begin.

Goldenpaw nodded, then fled off.

The apprentice remembered everything his mentor said, "First, you must catch one squirrel, one mouse, and one bird. All before Sunhigh. Then you will meet me under the great oak for the next part." He skidded to a halt when he saw a starling. He crouched, then pounced onto the unspecting bird. He buried his prey the ran off.

He stopped running to the sound of rustling of leaves. A squirrel! He pounced onto the squirrel, then carried the limp prey in his mouth before dropping his prey and burying it.

Panting, he gasped, then lit up to see a... Mouse! He ran after it, before it tried to run away. He pounced angrily on it, then carried his prey to the other holes.

He dug up the prey, then ran to the Great Oak to meet his mentor.

Fawnwillow waited at the base of the great oak, surveying the forest for her apprentice. Seeing him come with all the prey she assigned him made her purr. Clearing her throat she began, "You have passed the hunting, now on to tree skills, As you know Thunderclan is surrounded by trees and we use them to our advantage. So, began climbing the great oak, once you're a good distance up survey the area and come down and report everything to me, and if their happens to be any prey up there don't be afraid to bring that as well" She had no doubt he would pass this.

Goldenpaw nodded, then fled up the tree. He took a big whiff and looked at his surroundings, not seeing or scenting anything. He scampered back down the tree, "I saw lots of leaves and branches, but no prey. It smelled like a lot of different things, though," He made his tone serious, "Oak, squirrels, starlings, robins, crows, owls, bats..." He listed. When he was done listing a hundred more things, he smiled and stared at his mentor.

Fawnwillow purred in pleasure, He is doing so well! "Now would you please demonstrate simple battle moves on the great oak?" She mewed excitedly.

"Okay, Fawnwillow!" He faced the tree.

Goldenpaw used Front Paw Strike on The Great Oak.
