On the edge lies the lost [For Dreameon, Toy Roblox, Cloverpool, Rose]

Trees. Prey. The scents of home struck an aching chord in the black she-cat that limped onto the territory, her left flank fur mangled by blood and gouges from bites. Her blue eyes glanced around at the trees that had changed so much since her last visit several moons ago. It was frightening how much everything had changed. The scents alone of patrols felt completely unfamiliar, with nothing triggering a particular memory. Faintly, just faintly, she could still remember a brother of a time gone by and a mentor who'd taught her all that she could. But it had been too long, and all scent memory lost in the haze that was living with Upwalkers.

There was a niggling fear that perhaps it had been too long. Maybe Macaroon was right. When she'd eaten their food, and let them take her kits, StarClan had abandoned her.

Duskfall, Blazingheart, Hollyberry, Graywing, Wildheart. They all would have fought. Her friends, her family, her clan. She was weak, letting those UpWa- Twolegs take her so easily. Tame her.

The doubt was choking, and the black she-cat dug her claws into the ground as guilt crushed her. She thought of running back where she came from, the dogs be damned. Perhaps that was the fitting end, at least she'd die fighting. But before she could, the unnatural rustle of leaves caught her attention, and the she-cat turned to face whoever laid there in the shadows. Her blue eyes gleamed in both curiosity and restrained frustration as she snarled.

"Who's there?"

"Tt." The she-cat puffed out, unable to hold her growl at the obviously frightened apprentice who looked so young. She guessed it hadn't been that many moons since his ceremony, and from memory, that meant he was hardly a threat. So she calmed down, planting her hindquarters on the ground so that she didn't have to remain standing with her wounds. "Forgive me for not being terrified."

She turned to give the worst of her wounds a quick lick as it stung before continuing. "I'm just a humble rogue, passing through." She deliberately withheld her name, uncertain as to how much these new apprentices would know about her, or if her brother still lived to speak of her. "I have no intention of fighting anybody. Just need a place to rest before setting out, give me a day, and I'll be out of your fur."

She said a day, but really it was clear to everyone that she was in no shape to travel for a least a week or more. The wounds were deep, and looked borderline infected, but she had no intention of being driven out so quickly, she wanted to at least find out if any of her family lived.

"Did you say, Dusk- No!" The black she-cat, still wounded ran and intercepted the tom before he could more anymore, blocking the apprentice's path and picking him up by the scruff mid run. It pulled at her wounds, causing more blood to ooze out that she felt comfortable with considering the high odds of a fox passing through at any given time. But making sure no one found out quite so soon took priority. "I'm not looking to wander your terr-lands. I'm just asking to stay in the corner of your lands until I'm healed. Surely your leaders don't need to know about a harmless old she staying here?"

"What about Duskfall? You know of him? He's ThunderClan's deputy."

As he was grabbed by his scruff, he felt insecure and... unsafe. "I guess I can let it fly... well, I'm going to go get Swirlpaw and everyone else that was in my patrol..."

He mumbled, bolting away from her. He furiously looked around, only finding the other cats in his patrol a moment later. "Guys! I found a she-cat... No time to explain! Follow me!"

Minnowpaw stopped. "Show me where Goldenpaw!" She hissed to her brother.

Leading his sister to their undiscovered aunt, he purred, "Here she is."

Oliveheart heard the yowl and bolted after the few, tripping over a branch and stumbling past the apprentices, landing on a rather stinky pile of fur. "Where guys, rouges aren't allowed!"

OOC: God I love how stupid I make him

"Ah, a crowd to speculate and admire the wounded rogue." She spoke with a sigh quietly, getting up only to see a warrior bound through and land in front of her in a pile. The black she-cat recoiled in surprised, a tad sluggish. Her one white forepaw tapped the tom on the head, noticing with a bit of intrigue that he resembled Spottedstar, their leader when she'd been with the clan.

"How frightening." She said dryly, sitting down once she figured that he wasn't worth wasting what little energy she had.

"Oliveheart are you ok!?" Minnowpaw meowed in alarm. "Goldenpaw who's this rouge? Are you hurt badly? Oliveheart can we take her back to camp and fix her up I'm sure Duskfall and Spottedstar won't mind right?" She meowed this was so exciting and this was the first time she saw a rouge since she was kit.

IC: Goldenpaw simply glared at his sister, his gaze narrowing. He looked at the rouge, then mewed to his sister, "I just found her here."

Swirlpaw shortly padded over after Goldenpaw spoke. The cream and ginger apprentice stayed quiet for a moment.

Oliveheart flailed and flipped himself upright, backing up slightly from the smelly rouge. "Yeah, mom should know what to do with her." he mewed and looked at her. "Why should we not tell her about you?"

"Well if you always tell your mother everything, from when you make dirt to when you draw breath, please, don't let me stop you. Tell her that an old, wounded rogue is resting her feeble bones at the corners of her territory, and you need her to make a decision for you. After all, we wouldn't want to be making any real decisions." The black she-cat sat down where she was, curling her tail around her as the only sign that she was nervous. Everything else about her spoke of confidence, yet fragility. She was counting on the tom having some pride in his position as warrior and patrol leader over these apprentices. Who seemed to have doubled within seconds.
