| Treepaw and Silkpaw were practicing battle moves by the Thunderpath. Treepaw looked to Silkpaw. "Watch this!" He attempted to leap onto Silkpaw but, landed on The Thunderpath. He tried to scramble back as a monster was coming nearer and nearer to him. |

| A figure leaped out of the shadows and grabbed Treepaw by the scruff, yanking him onto the side of the Thunderpath just as the monster raced by. "You idiot! What did you think you were doing, laying in the middle of a death trap," snapped Stormstrike, the newly appointed warrior. "Your lucky I saved you, or else we'd have to scrape you off the Thunderpath with our claws and feed you to the crowfood eating Shadowclan cats!"

It may not look like it, but Stormstrike truly did care about each cat in Thunderclan. The new warrior turned to Treepaw. | Silkpaw nervously nodded, pinning her pearl white ears back. "Yes, Stormstrike. I am sorry." She apologized, her voice cracking slightly. Quietly she said under her breath, "Those warriors think they can do everything by themselves. But there's something only kits and apprentices can do. That is have fun. Warriors are 'to protective' of their litter mates, while I could care less."
