Robinpaw, Sweetpaw, and Stormpaw's Warrior Ceremony

"Let all cats old enough to catch their prey gather beneath High Rock for a clan meeting!" It was the first warrior ceremony to be held at High Rock, and it was exciting. The trees seemed to quiver as well in the breeze. Standing on top of High Rock, Duskfall looked over at ThunderClan gathering around with joy.

Robinpaw left the apprentices' den at her mentor's call. She had been out of action for a small while, but now she was better and stronger than ever, and she was certain she was ready to be a warrior. A small throb in her chest made her wish that her mother would give her her name and she hoped her siblings would be there to congratulate her. Still, it was pleasing to be back home, in camp where ThunderClan belonged. She looked up at Duskfall, watching expectantly.

Silkpaw padded happily beneath the High Rock. She looked quickly at Robinpaw, smiling. Then she turned her emerald green gaze towards Duskfall.

Stormpaw came out of the apprentice's den, wanting to see what was going on. When she realized that it was a ceremony, she cleaned her fur and then waited.

Frozenflame walked out of the new warrior's den and sat down next to his daughter.

Soaringwing followed Frozenflame out and sat down on the other side of Stormpaw.

Sweetpaw trotted over toward her father, sister, and Soaringwing. She settled down, staring expectantly at Duskfall.

Hollyberry followed her, smiling in joy at what was to come.

Batwing slipped out of the nursery, chest swelling with pride. It was that time already? His niece was receiving her warrior name!

"Robinpaw, Sweetspaw, and Stormpaw, please step forward." The deputy asked, smiling over at his grandchildren, but also feeling wistful Blazingheart was not with them to share this moment.

Hawkstrike also came out of the warrior's den, and sat next near her children, watching over them from afar.

She was the first to step forward. At the sound of her name, Stormpaw shot up and took a big, quick step forward. Her green eyes, much like her grandmother's, dazzled as she stared up at her mom's father in awe. Stormpaw had been dreaming of this day for moons! She couldn't wait to join Soaringwing in the warrior's den.

Frozenflame smiled at Stormpaw's excitement. It was the first time he had smiled in weeks. He remembered when he was that excited himself, getting his warrior name next to Hawkstrike...

Soaringwing laughed quietly as Stormpaw shot forward. He caught her tail and bit down lightly on it before swatting it as Stormpaw yanked it away.

Robinpaw's tail flicked in anxiety when she noticed her family was missing. Well... the Clan is my family, I guess... She stepped forward when Duskfall commanded it, a long, graceful step that separated her from the crowd and put her directly in the clearing where the soon-to-be warriors were expected to stand. The deputy seemed to have eyes only for his kin, but Robinpaw was determined to make him proud some day. Until then, she had a warrior ceremony to take part in.

Littlefang had joined to watch his kin become warriors. He was glad their family had grown so much over the past season.

Sweetpaw pranced forward, head and tail held erect and chest puffed out.

When the three all stepped forward, Duskfall started to say the words he'd once heard being said to him, and had said to numerous others over the moons. "I, Duskfall, deputy of Thunderclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Robinpaw, Sweetpaw, and Stormpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your lives?"

Sweetpaw sucked in a breath, and thought of all of her kin. They were already warriors, and now she was becoming one! "I do!" she mewed, voice full of pride.

Stormpaw stared up at her grandpa. "Yes, I do," she meowed with honor in her voice.

It was finally time! "I do." Answered Robinpaw, her meow strong and confident.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names. Robinpaw, from this moment you will be known as Robinflight. StarClan honours your bravery and wisdom, and we welcome you as a full warrior of Thunderclan." Duskfall leap down and placed his muzzle on top of his once apprentice, Robinflight. Though he hadn't managed to spend the time with her as he'd wished teaching her, he knew she deserved to be here. She was a fine apprentice, and he had no doubt she would continue as a fine warrior.

"Sweetpaw, from this moment you will be known as Sweetsong. StarClan honours your calm and loyalty." The deputy placed his muzzled on top of Sweetsong's head as well, glad to see another of his grandchildren becoming a warrior. Then he moved on to his other granddaughter who was here to received her warrior name. "Stormpaw, from this moment onwards you be will known as Stormstrike. StarClan honours your fierceness and dedication."

Though his relationship with Stormstrike had been rocky, the she-cat was quite a fierce one. He still cared for her and viewed her fondly, seeing Coalfur in her boldness and loyalty to clan. When he placed his muzzle on her, finishing her ceremony, he did so with respect and love.

"As per tradition, the three of you will hold a silent vigil and guard camp tonight. This will begin at Sundown. Go eat, and let us celebrate our new warriors. May StarClan guide your paths." Ending the meeting, Duskfall leap down back to the ground, leading the cheer for the new warriors. "Robinflight! Sweetsong! Stormstrike!"
