Summitkit meets the rest of Thunderclan

Summitkit blinked open his blue eyes and groomed his fiery orangish-yelled pelt free of moss and quietly got up out of his nest careful not to wake his mother and sister and padded over to a small puddle for a drink. Stifling a yawn he sat in a sunny spot.

Fawnpaw slid out of the apprentice den to stretch before breakfast, as she arched her back the fiery pelt of the small tom caught her eyes. Curiously she padded up to him and introduced herself, "Hey! I'm Fawnpaw! You are?" She tilted her head and curled her tail.

"I'm Summitkit!" The small tom meowed. "Nice to meet you Fawnpaw! What's it like being an apprentice?"

Fawnpaw sat down and curled her thick brown tail around her paws, "Well, it's so much fun! You learn so much everyday and you get to explore!" She mewed rapidly as her bubbly personality was on point today.

"Wow so cool! I can't wait until I'm one but I have to wait until next moon since I'm only five moons old." He sat down and curled his fiery tail around his paws.

"Don't worry! You'll be an apprentice before you know it! We can go on a patrol or two together! " She mewed happily as she nudged the younger cat.

"You think so? I mean one more moon feels like forever." He meowed.

Silkpaw noticed Fawnpaw with a kit. So, she quickly padded over and mewed, "Hi, little kit! You must be one of Frostsnap's kits!" Letting out a smile, she purred, "Nice to meet you. I'm Silkpaw. What's your name?"

"Hi Silkpaw I'm Summitkit." He meowed. So many cats!he thought.

Fawnpaw purred in acknowledgment to Silkpaw's arrival.

"Nice to meet you, Summitkit." Silkpaw mewed. "Wanna play... Moss ball?" She asked, rolling a ball over with her paw.

"Sure!" He meowed. He may be Five moons old but he hasn't met anyone from his clan until today and playing mossball wouldn't hurt.

The white she-cat rolled the ball over to Summitkit. "You start. I'm ready." Silkpaw said quietly, ready to pounce onto the moss ball.

He batted the mossball at Silkpaw.

Silkpaw narrowed her eyes playfully. She batted the ball roughly with her paws, then fell down laughing when it hit Summitkit on his back. Getting up, she walked over to the kit and picked the moss ball up. "Are you okay?" Silkpaw laughed, then stopped when she realized the kit probably thought she was being rude.
