Chilling Out <3 [open]

Although she was tired of being stuck in camp, there were certain nights like this perfectly clear one that made Fennelcloud just want to lie down and look at Silverpelt. The moon was nowhere to be found in the sky, so all of the stars above were the only source of light and all of them were out tonight. It was beautiful, although the she-cat felt bad for not doing any kind of patrol at that moment. She was probably supposed to be hunting, but there were others to do that. A border patrol would have been good, but nah. She just wanted to hang out in camp and talk to her clan mates. Sometimes, you just had to take a break.

A young kit sat, crouching, his spotted pelt blending in with the shadows of the nursery. Leopardkit's eyes glinted with jealousy at the sight of the she-cat. She was already a warrior and she could go in and out of camp as she pleased. But Leopardkit was "too young" and "too irresponsible" leave camp, according to his up-tight mother who would hardly let him leave the nursery. He had a lot of bundled up energy to release, and now was the perfect time. Maybe he could prove he was big enough and strong enough to finally be an apprentice! He wasn't even near six moons yet, but he thought he could make up for it with his large size. His tail flicked anxiously and a look of concentration crossed the kit's face. And then with an adorable kit-mewl that was supposed to resemble a battlecry, Leopardkit dashed from the shadows of the nursery and pounced at the warrior's tail, kneading it with his tiny kit claws and growling at his ginger-and-white enemy.

Stormkit rolled over in bed, shifting against her mother's warm fur. She blinked open icy gray eyes, before batting her paws weakly at the sky, narrowing her eyes against the sunlight. "I see the light......" She muttered in a dazed tone. Her mother purred in laughter, her tongue gently rasping over Stormkit's fluffy fur. "Awake already?" *insert name here* asked, amusement evident in her tone. "If you're so bored, why don't you go out and play?" "'Kay, *insert name here*!" Stormkit said, before plodding outside. She watched as a kit pounced on a warrior's tail, and scrunched up her nose. Wasn't that dangerous? Wouldn't the warrior get angry and hurt the kit? Oh well. She padded over, a tiny grin on her face. "Hi! Can I join in on the fun? I'm bored, and mom told me I could go outside and play."

It was too adorable to hear the small mews of Leopardkit as he dashed towards Fennelcloud. As he pounced on her tail, she cried out playfully. "Oh no! The mighty beast has my tail! What am I to do?!" It was almost too cute for words. Moving her tail around underneath him, she tried to make more of a game out of it. When Stormkit padded up, Fennelcloud turned her attention away from Leopardkit for a moment to look at the new addition. "Of course, little one! What is your name?" She asked. These were obviously new kits. She didn't remember them during her time in the nursery.
