Thunderclan Ambushes [Open to those who applied]

The yowls, the hisses, the sounds of fury and battle. Sparrowpaw jolted away from her herbs, watching as ThunderClan warriors spilled in through the reed wall like a flood. Her eyes went wide, fear gripping her heart for a moment, before her surprise turned to anger.

Mousebrains...

All this over some idiot who drowned on accident? All they'd accomplish from this was more bloodshed and more dead morons trying to fight in the name of revenge.

Sparrowpaw unsheathed her claws and crept to the entrance of her den, arching her back into a battle stance. She was only a medicine cat, only an apprentice, and she'd never been as strong as her brothers...

But anger filled her limbs, a fire burned in her murky green eyes, and there wasn't any more time to think. She charged forward into the fray, toward the warrior standing over a limp Specklepaw. "MOUSEBRAIN!" Sparrowpaw bowled into his flank, sending him toppling to the ground, and she quickly moved to pin him.

This might've been a stupid idea.

Sparrowpaw used Leap-and-Hold. It's super effective. Thornfang cannot move for 1 turn.

The she-cat screamed in pain. Definitely some damage to the stomach. Her kits might be injured... But she was too tired to move. She attempted to swing at his face, but fell weak. She tried to get up and run to the safety of the nursery, but she fell. Why did they always attack when something was happening to her that could affect her in battle?! She sighed and fainted out of pain.

Otterfur hasn't been expecting the attack at all, neither did the rest of the clan it seemed. The tom let out a sick spat as he was quickly pinned down to the ground, for the time being that was. "Back for a second beating, coward?" He hissed. ThunderClan seemed to like to blame them for all their misfortunes. And if they couldn't defeat them at Sunningrocks, then they seemed happy to attack them in their own home when their backs were turned. Where queens, kits, and elders were? They considered that righteous?

Morons.

He quickly twisted out of the old she-cats grasp, sending her flying off of him and turning around to face her again, every fur on his pelt standing straight up. "Fine, have it your way."

Otterfur used 'duck-and-twist', canceling the effects of Leap and Hold and doing 16 damage, as well as costing 25 stamina!

Still high from victory, Duskfall set off to attack another. Silversong, a Riverclan she-cat was his target. Stalking over to her, he tackled her, scoring her with his claws.

Thornfang took the blow from the medicine cat apprentice and was stunned for one turn. But he would get him back.

Cloudpaw watched from his hideout and saw Sparrowpaw fighting. He thought that medicine cat apprentices weren't supposed to fight because there goal was to heal cats not hurt them. He turned away to lick the deep bleeding gash on his side that he recieved from one of the thunderclan apprentices.

"Coward? Coward?! You should think of better insults, fish-brain!" She hissed, tumbling to the ground but quickly recovering, pulling herself up onto her back legs with a huff the she-cat tucked her tail around her back paws and aimed to bring it down on Otterfur in rapid slashes, keeping her balance for a long span of time due to her experience.


Specklefur used Rear-up to slash, costing 25 damage and 15 stamina.

"Reckless flea-brains?" Otterfur spat, taking a few steps away as she swung her paws up at him, dealing with the brunt of the blows. "Mangy fox-hearts?" The tom growled, stepping aside and watching the she-cat carefully. Of course words meant nothing here. Words meant nothing to brainless badgers. Yet still, he found himself saying them. "ThunderClan has no sense or honor!" He attacked again, pinning her down like she'd done to him and shaking her scruff.

Otterfur used 'scruff shake', doing 16 damage, as well as costing 25 stamina!

Specklepaw screeched in pain. "Mousebrain…" She muttered. She looked around for Cloudpaw.

Rage burned through Redpaw. His claws dug into the cat's fur as he held him to the ground. His twmper got the best of him and he yowled out, "Your paying for that!" Redpaw bent down and sunk his teeth in the cat's neck, feeling warm blood pour into his mouth, but he didn't let go. His anger held him there.

Blazingheart carried his son to safety before looking around for someone to battle his eyes landed on a random riverclan cat, so he decided to attack. With a battle cry, he leaped at Patchface and tackled him down. "Prepare to be beaten," He spat.

Nightpaw didn't even have a moment to yowl in pain before his life was ended on the field. His body went limp, and fell to the ground in a wet thump once Redpaw released him. The grey apprentice was dead, never to walk again amongst the living.

Up close, the warrior seemed so much bigger, so much older... But there wasn't any time for regrets, or for fear, or for second thoughts. Her Clan was being attacked by these mangy foxhearts, and she had to be strong for them. Her father had been Reedstar, leader of RiverClan. He never would've run away or hid in the medicine den like a kit. Sparrowpaw had to live up to that legacy, even if the odds were stacked against her.

Growling, the medicine cat began to rake her back claws over Thornfang's exposed underbelly.
