Over the hill, and far away [OPEN]

The moor was a relatively safe place compared to the territories of other clans. There were no adders, no gorges, no Thunderpath nearby that could threaten a little kit that had strayed from camp. But it still had some dangers. Gorsekit had a craving for an adventure, and wanted to see the world beyond. His mother fussed over him, telling him to remain in camp. She spoke of how there were rules that banned him from leaving camp alone. That there were rogues, but he didn't care.

He was nearly apprentice aged now, and he wanted to go out. What difference did one or two moons make? So he called out to his siblings, nudging Littlekit and Meadowkit roughly, gesturing for them to follow him. He lead them to a gorse bush, far away from the nursery where their mother laid sleeping.

"I think it's time we went exploring the moors."

Meadowkiy was unsure."but mom said we shouldn't leave camp..."She mewed her tail quivered slightly and she looked at her brother.

"Don't tell me you're scared, Meadowkit." He spoke disdainfully, scrutinising her every word. No sister of his was going to be a scaredy cat. "What about you, Littlekit? Are you scared too?

"I'm not scared!!"Meadowkit mewed a bit angry that he would scrutinize her."why do you have to be me"She mewed quietly her tail flicking"and i m not scared i only like to do what mother says because i know ill be okay"She mewed.

Littlekit woke up to the rude nudge of his brother. An ear flickered in annoyance and his eye-lids slowly lifted revealing his light amber eyes. With a grunt he slowly sat up properly glaring at Gorsekit, his maw twitching in annoyance. The small calico didn't say much to argue but he did follow his brother and his sister,sliently following him into a brush. His annoyance steadily glowing by the second, Littlekit blinked in surprise when Gorsekit had suggested the outrageous idea of sneaking out of camp, what a mousebrain his brother was honestly.

His ear twitched a bored expression placed onto littlekits face. "Go out? Looks like some-one wants attention from people." The runt snorted towards his brother, his tail flickering "Honestly Gorsekit your a complete mouse-brain if you think a couple of kits will be safe in the territory. We wouldn't even have anything to do besides ruining our clans reputation so I suggest you wouldn't do that. Use that brain that star-clan had gave you will you?" Littlekit spoke his words coming out harshly as he padded next too his sisters side giving Gorsekit an unfriendly stare.

"Hmph, whatever. I guess when you're as small as you are, you have to be careful. I don't blame you, Littlekit. Go back to camp and snuggle up to mother." Gorsekit purred, patronisingly, taunting his brother with practiced ease. Flicking his tail in a dismissive motion, he headed towards the camp exit, calling over his shoulder to his sister. "We'll be off then, won't we, Meadowkit. You said after all that you're not scared. Unless you've become a scaredy cat like a certain someone."

Meadowkit looked to her brother Littlekit before she padded after her brother, Gorsekit. She didnt really want to leave camp but she didn't want to prove she was scared so she followed her brother.
