The Tunnels dream

Tunnelheart was still laying in the nusery of Shadowclan. It was a little while before she fell asleep. When she did it was never a good dream. She opened her eyes as she stood in her dream onear the thunderpath as a death of her kit again before it turned to her conversation with Syrike. Tears formed in her eyes and her heart ached. She closed her eyes briefly but when she opened her eyes again she blinked seeing she was in a different place. She then looked around confused for a moment until she heard tiny pawsteps coming her way.

"Mother!" Wolfkit called out happily with joy in her voice, a stark contrast to the last time Tunnelheart had seen her. But despite her healthy appearance, the matter of her father weighed on her heavily. Her eyes shone with wisdom beyond her age, and there was a world weariness that no kit should have had to bear. "It's me, Wolfkit."

"..w..wolfkit"Tunnelheart mewed quietly not believing it but then she ran over to Wolfkit tears in the she cat's eyes.

"Mother." Wolfkit purred, pressing herself to her mother's chest as she would when she had lived. It pained her to see how grief-stricken her her beautiful mother had become, to think that she'd been so foolish to decide to run off without telling her. It was a regret however she could fix. "Please don't cry, mother."

Tunnelheart a small purr and looked down at Wolfkit."why?"She mewed. She wanted to cry. She had lost who said held dear to her and her mate blamed her for the death.

"We will be together again. When the moon has faded from the sky and is born anew, I shall walk amongst the living." Wolfkit spoke with the wisdom of Starclan, she had consulted fellow Starclan warriors, and this was the decision they'd reached. They would not risk both Tunnelheart and Strike losing faith in Starclan and joining the cats of the Dark forest.

Tunnelheart blinked tears welling in her eyes but of happiness at the though of seeing her kit alive again. Tunnelheart looked at Wolfkit"so you'll be alive and well and..and i can see you again"She mewed looking at her daughter .

"Look to the place where my live was forfeit. I cannot say anymore, Tunnelheart." Wolfkit faded away as she spoke, with the information necessary told, her purpose was done. She went back to join her ranks in Starclan, and to be cleansed of her past to be born anew.

OOC: Could you make the post in Thunderpath where Tunnelheart goes to look for Wolfkit?

Tunnelheart nodded quietly and watched as her daughter vanished. Soon she woke.
