Hangin out in the territory

OOC: Shimmer's ceremony is taking way too long so she'z a warrior now

IC: Shimmerlight happily padded around the territory. Every step she took was filled with joy and excitement. She was now a warrior. The she-cat was proud. She was thankful that she was done training, and grateful that she could go anywhere without being constantly watched by her mentor or other warriors. The warrior's den was much better then the apprentice's, and she felt right at home there. Shimmerlight stopped by a pool of water for a drink. As she gulped down the water, she heard a sound behind her. "Who's there?" She asked, turning around. Water dripped from her mouth as she strained to see who it was.

Icepaw happily walked over to her friend. Though they hadn't been in the nursery for a short time, and the apprentices den, she was still good friends with her. "Just me, Shimmerlight. Congradulations."

The she-cat smiled at her new name. "Thanks, Icepaw!" Shimmerlight was glad to have Icepaw as her friend. "Hey, do you want to go hunting or do a border patrol or something?" She asked.

TigerTail pushed her way through the snow and growled as it touched her belly. Whipping her tail around she hissed angrily and hopped on a rock. Looking around she spotted two cats ShimmerLight and IcePaw. Running towards them she hissed. "You two! Your coming with me we have to hunt for the clan. We have kits to feed mind you we don't have the day to waste gossiping!" She hissed at them. TigerTail's temper had gotten worse as the seasons went by.

(Feel free to argue with her and not go fishing. Lol I want TigerTail to go in a hissy fit mind you she may scratch ya xD)

Icepaw growled at Tigertail. But she rolled her eyes. "Fine." I suppose it'd be best to feed the clan, after all most are sick." She nodded. "And we weren't gossiping." She snarled in warning. (She'll scratch back, she has very long claws xD) "Shimmerlight, do you want to come?"

Shimmerlight hissed a little at Tigertail. "Actually, I've been hunting all day. I think I'm allowed to rest for a moment to talk with my friend." She narrowed her eyes at Tigertail. She was a warrior now, and maybe thats why she stood up to the other she-cat, but that didn't mean she was more experienced and could easily take her on. Shimmerlight should respect the older warrior, but she didn't at the moment. She coughed a little, but didn't let that stop her from anything.

Icepaw, seeing Shimmerlight hiss for the first time, nodded. "I- I won't go either, then!" She said and stood by Shimmerlight. But she had to admit she was terrified of the she-cat. She didn't trust her, and felt like there was a deadly gloom hanging around. She really wanted to get out and hunt but she wanted to stick with her best friend.

TigerTail hissed at ShimmerLight. "You were my apprentice mind you! Still even if you've hunted all day doesn't mean you get to do whatever you want! The clan comes first! Not your play time." She nodded at IcePaw. "At least she knows what she must do! Most of the clan is sick and can't hunt. If we don't keep fish coming to them they'll die and won't be able to fight the disease since they aren't fed." Then as IcePaw spoke about not hunting TigerTail unsheathed her claws and whacked her. "Don't whine I'm an experienced warrior and you must listen you kit!"

Icepaw wailed as she hit her and ran behind Shimmerlight. She hissed at Tigertsil, unsheathing her strangely long class's a warning. But she was still scared and had not much confidence. "Sh-Shimmerlight I don't want her to hurt you too I think we should go.." The pain in her flank from where Tigertail whacked her hurt like the Dark Forest.

Shimmerlight didn't know what to say. Tigertail had been her mentor and she was much more respected and wiser than she. Shimmerlight would probably be the one who got into more trouble if she started a quarrel with Tigertail. She debated over the options in her head. Stand up for herself, or give in to the warrior who could easily beat her in a fight. The she-cat nervously glanced at Icepaw as Tigertail struck her with her unsheathed claw. "Don't you dare do that again," She growled through clenched teeth, trying to hold back her anger. A cough escaped her mouth, but she hardly noticed, her eyes raging with anger. Nobody messes with her best friend and gets away with it. "I was going to do what you asked until you hurt my friend...my best friend. I don't follow orders from someone who hurts other cats for absolutely no reason!" She knew she was probably going to get into major trouble with Sunstar or somebody for this, but then again she was dating a rouge, so it didn't matter to her anyway. Shimmerlight unsheathed her claws. "I don't care if she hurts me, Icepaw. I just don't want her to hurt you any more." The other two cats were about to see a side of Shimmerlight that nobody wants to see...her angry side.

TigerTail hissed and arched her back. "Then attack me! If your brave enough, or follow my orders." TigerTail growled and took a threatening step forward. Listening to ShimmerLight's breathing she smiled she was sick! A full thrust to her chest and pain would be unbearable if of course done correctly. "I won't hurt her if you listen for once."

The she-cat would obviously loose the fight. But, it was worth a try. Shimmerlight let something escape her mouth that was the mix of a roar, a growl, and a hiss. Whatever it was, it sounded awful, like scratching a chalk board with your nails. The she-cat lunged herself at Tigertail. How could she do this to her mentor? Maybe she was starting to get annoyed from coughing and cranky from staying up all night, not being able to sleep because of all the other cats around her coughing. Lets be honest, the battle was already finished the moment Tigertail came. Shimmerlight was going to get some serious sense pounded into her. She rammed into Tigertail's side. Her attack was weaker, because she couldn't stop coughing. The she-cat jumped back and unsheathed her claws, swiping at the warrior, trying to scratch at her face. She was already out of breath from just doing that. The stupid whitecough was not helping her beat up Tigertail.

Icepaw shrieked. "Stop! Please!" She would jump right in if she had to. "Please! You could kill each other! Stop!" Ignoring the pain in her flank, she attempted to push Shimmerlight's claw away, but failed. "Stop!"

TigerTail spit in anger and happiness it was time to head blood from her attacker. Stumbling back a bit she kept her head low and curled her tail around her back leg so ShimmerLight wouldn't be able to grab her tail running to ShimmerLight's right side then bolting quickly to the left she raked her long claws down her side leaving a long mark. Then squared herself up behind ShimmerLight.

Shimmerlight hissed, the scent of blood coming to her nose and a burning sensation coming from her side. That was the last straw. The she-cat whipped around and reared up on her back legs, bringing her front paws down hard onto Tigertail's head, claws out. She used all of her weight on her attack, then jumped back, snarling and hissing. She clawed at Tigertail's face. What am I doing? She asked herself in her mind. She couldn't stop...and maybe she truly didn't want to stop. In her mind, she kept screaming stop, but she didn't stop fighting. She coughed. "I'm not going to kill her," She said through gritted teeth to Icepaw. Now that she had started fighting, she couldn't stop unless she wanted to look like a coward. Maybe she should stop...for Icepaw. Maybe Tigertail would let her go if she backed down now. Her breaths were coming in raspy and every time she swallowed, it felt like she was swallowing mud. It was getting harder for her to breath because she was moving to fast. She coughed again. Stupid whitecough, your slowing me down!
