Shimmerpaw's Warrior Ceremony

With a giant bound, Sunstar leapt atop the willow branch and yowled out, "Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather for a Clan meeting!"

Shimmerpaw padded out of the apprentice den and sat down by the willow branch, waiting for it to start.

When the golden leader caught sight of the apprentice he called out, "Shimmerpaw, please step forward."

Shimmerpaw stepped forward, pride rushing through her.

Once he spotted the apprentice step forward, he raised his head and spoke again, "I, Sunstar, leader of RiverClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn." He paused to look down at the apprentice, then asked the question, "Shimmerpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

"I do, Sunstar," Shimmerpaw said
