December Gathering 2014

Honeypaw padded after Falconstar. The cold wind nipped at her a little, but her long fur prevented her from getting too cold. She saw Ghostpaw and ran over and said hi. Mothers death would probably be announced soon, right? Maybe Falconstar would mention it. And maybe dad will be mentioned, too!

Thrushstar quietly padded into the gathering with his clan not far behind. He didn't really have a whole lot to say at this gathering as not much had happened other than the changes in temperature and the amount of prey quickly decreasing. Oh well. There have been gatherings like this before. It was better than having something major to tell the other clans. There weren't anymore issues with other clans other than the tensions still sitting between Thunderclan, Windclan and Skyclan. Leaping onto the rock, the Shadowclan leader joined the others on top of the Great Rock.

Fennelcloud bounced her way into the clearing, looking around at the other cats as she sat down in an open spot near some cats from another clan. She wasn't exactly interested in conversation, but she couldn't really help it. Even after she had heard all of the stories and even witnessed the terrible acts of the other cats, she didn't really feel any hatred towards them. It was like she wanted to prove she was better than them, if nothing else.

Cinderfur quietly followed Sunstar into the clearing. She silently sat down, not looking at anyone else than her leader. She didn't exactly want to be here, but she came anyway, kind of curious about what the other leaders had to say.

On the other side, Nightfoot and Featherheart followed Breezestar in, taking their spots with a scowl on their faces. Nightfoot couldn't help but spit in the direction of Thunderclan and Windclan. She couldn't get over how furious she was about that battle so long ago now. Featherheart felt cornered deep inside. She didn't like being surrounded by her enemies, but she had to trust in the rule of keeping peace. The other clan cats treated it almost better than life itself. Whatever. To keep herself calm, she looked up at how wonderful Breezestar looked on that rock. Waiting for the gathering to start, she stared at the leader.

Darkpaw followed after Thrushstar, his paws touching the snowflakes and a shiver went up his spine. He whimpered as he stepped on a hard piece of ice. Don't whimper! A Shadowclan cat doesn't show weakness! Sighing, he strode into the area of fourtrees, looking around for another cat to talk to.

Sparrowpaw followed the rest of RiverClan in with her teeth chattering.

My whiskers feel frozen, she lamented to herself as she hurried down the slope and into the clearing. Every pawstep into the snow sent stabs of icy cold into her pads and up her legs. Her fur was still soaking from the dip in the icy river. Did this mean she was a drypaw? Sparrowpaw had always loved playing in the water as a kit, and that was back in a gray and rainy Leaf-fall, but it wasn't cold the way Leafbare was cold. She had the long sleek fur that all pureborn RiverClan cats had, that helped her swim and keep warm, but it felt like the icy river had washed right through her and soaked her right to the bone. Lavender. Lavender cures chills, right? Ebonyleaf had told her something like that, but right now, it felt like it all just blanked from her mind. And who's gonna take care of me when I get sick?

Sparrowpaw huddled down at the base of the Great Rock with her head held high, trying to suppress her shivering in front of the other Clans, especially the other medicine cats. Sneer at me and I'll scratch your eyes out.

BlackClaw followed ThrushStar and sat down not far off from the Great Rock. Hopefully this gathering wouldn't be boring. It was leaf-bare it should be exciting.

ShadowWhisper was walking ahead of her apprentice, Darkpaw. She looked back when she heard him whimper and giggled to herself before stopping to let him catch up. "This is your first time in at a gathering and I hope you enjoy it. Remember, do say too little or too much. If you do that you may give away our secret or think you're being hostile. And the most important rule of all-- do not fight, there's a truce. Any questions?"

Snowfrost stood in the clearing and looked around to find someone she knew. She shiver went down her spine when she saw Scarletheart's gaze burning her pelt. Instead of padding up to her, she went to Rippletail. The she cat licked his cheek before glancing at her sister--who was walking up to her.

Scarletheart was staring at her sister. To her, she looked different--more confident and she looked attached to a handsome tabby tom. She was shocked when her sister didn't even come to her to say hello. Without thinking, she trotted to her sister with her tail high.

Eaglewing trotted confidently to the clearing. His snow white pelt blended in with the ice easily. He purred at the thought of that before finding a spot to sit.

Gingerleaf was walking right behind the handsome white warrior. She was aware of the tiny kicks in her stomach. She haven't told Dapplepelt the news yet, but she was planning to soon. Gracefully, she walked to the side of her mate.

Darkpaw nodded. "I think I understand. So, a truce... Nobody fights? At all?" He asked. Yes, being his first time at a gathering he didn't know too much... He'd only been with the Clan for six moons. Sighing, he waited for her to reply to him.

Dapplepelt purred as Gingerleaf sat next to him. "Hi!" He mewed, happily. He noticed her belly was a bit bigger, but didn't take notice. "So... What do you think the other clans' will say?"

(I know his ceremony has kind of been weird right now, but I'm just going to say he's SunPaw now)
Sunpaw limped after many other cats in Windclan. My first gathering! I should be excited.. Sighing, he looked around. Spotting a brown she-cat, he walked over. "Hi. I'm Sunpaw." He mewed. She smells like fish and herbs... the Riverclan medicine cat..?

"Nobody should fight," ShadowWhisper corrected him. "Some cats are mouse-brained enough to fight when they know there's a truce. When someone picks on you during gatherings, my advice to you is to walk away and ignore them. Do not start any fights, or you will be dealing with me. If that cat takes long to realize that nobody is paying him/her any mind, so be it." She stared at her apprentice. "If you need me, you can always ask for me." The she cat touched Darkpaw's nose with the tip of her tail affectionately.

Gingerleaf purred before saying, "Hi." She settled down beside her mate and wrapped her tail around him. "Say about what?" Her amber gaze shifted across the clearing.

"Oh, Okay Shadowwhisper." He mewed, and nodded. "No fights for me! Unless I have to... Like um... In a real battle." He looked around, looking for someone to chat with.

"Oh, I don't know.... Like, any battles or anything? I haven't heard of any. I mean, I'm glad there wasn't... But, you get the point." He said, red with embarrassment. Act natural! She's your mate after all! Don't go walking around like a mouse brain!
