Cool Night in ThunderClan

Gingerleaf was out in the night where the air felt fresh and cool. The only things she could hear was the sound of wind and nocturnal animals. Peaceful, she thought. She pricked her ears at the sound of rustling coming from behind of her. The calico she cat turned around and spotted a vole eating food. Slowly, the cat stalked the vole until she was close enough. Just as she was about to jump, a noise came from behind of her. The vole quickly ran and went inside of its hole. Gingerleaf hissed in frustration and swung her body to confront whoever disturbed her hunting session.

Strikepaw had been wandering around aimlessly looking for something to do. He had come across a warrior and had decided to spy, as he patrolled onward he had forgotten to look beneath his paws as he was to intently focused on hiding. He stepped on a particularly large twig which broke with a loud echoing sound it seemed. He hunched his shoulders and watched Gingerleafs face turn to one of anger. Looking around he saw no one to blame it on, he stepped forward slowly like he was in deep trouble with his mother witch was almost true.

Gingerleaf narrowed her eyes and shook her head. Apprentices, she thought. A glint of amusement showed in her eyes. She was recalling the time when she was an apprentice. She was one who usually gets in trouble for doing such mouse-brained things. All of that was over. The calico sat down and watched the apprentice. "Make sure you watch out for obstacles next time."
