Cool Cool Mountain

[meta musting fun... I know it is not real site 'canon' but to me it is realish and is my head 'canon' so its real to an extent in that ;) . Anyways I just always really enjoyed Swift and Snow and their relationship was so fun to rp]



Swiftheart sat at the edge of camp after a long night of hunting. Her white pelt was splotched with the mud of their swampy home and she was so exhausted she could hardly groom at them. Not wanting to dirty up her nest or the den she stayed out here doing her best to groom out her fur. But as her eyes grew heavier and the morning light came out which is when their nocternal clan slept she soon found even the simple task more and more hard to focus on.


The next thing the young she cat knew she was surrounded by stars and her eyes widned as she realized where she was. The memory of her appretnice moonstone hit her like it was only yesterday. Her jaw dropped slightly ... "starclan" she whispered quietly to herself in amazement.

She panicked for a moment, had she just... died??

She had so much left she wanted to do and explore in life. But her worries soon left her as she looked down at her own pelt - it was not filled with stars and was just as was when she fell asleep.

"just a dream?? I thought only med cats were lucky enough to have them" she meowed mostly to herself.

She took a step forward looking around until way out on the horizon she saw the shape of a cat. She squinted it was so hard to make out who they were their pelt glistened and shone like the millions of stars that danced and decorated their pelt.


"h-hello?" she meowed out

“Swift, good to see you!” Snowfoot called out, dashing forward to greet her old friend. “Sorry about the entrance,” she chuckled. “I’m really not supposed to be here, but I think the leaders are willing to overlook it because at least I’m not screwing with fate like my mother does. How’ve you been?”

Swiftheart perked up almost immediately recognizing that voice. She ran to her friends side and happily greeted her with a warm purr and gentle nuzzle into Snowfoot's shoulder.

"Snow! It's so good to see you again" she purred.

She flicked her tail so full of energy as always and she dropped down on her front paws in a playful stance

"Iv'e missed you dearly my friend"

Snowfoot nuzzled into Swiftheart’s fur, purring. “I’ve missed you too,” she mewed. “I just had to come see you… and say thank you. You’ve been an amazing mother to my grandchildren and a wonderful friend to everyone. I wish I could still be there with you, but you’re doing a phenomenal job taking care of ShadowClan. Oh, and if you’re wondering, Lighttail is well. You may see her kits at the next gathering.”

Swiftheart sat beside her friend and purred leaning against her gently.  Did snowfoot know about her pretending to be Juniperpaw and Willowpaw's mother?  Did she know that she was faking it all to protect the missing med cats secret love?

She blinked unsure and gave a little meow, "Snowfoot? I... I feel like I am a little bit trapped" she whispered to her close friend.

"I am trying to do the right thing but it is really hard, I dont know how to tell what is right or wrong sometimes" she meowed pawing a bit playfully at her friend while she talked to make the hard subject a little bit easier to talk about

Snowfoot shook her head. “Believe me, I’m still figuring out some of that. Right and wrong aren’t black and white, Swiftheart. Sometimes there is no choice that won’t hurt someone. I am proud of you for stepping up though. And you are their mother where it matters. I should know. If you love them and they love you, then that’s what matters. Right now, you have a difficult choice to make. If you don’t want to take the secret to your grave, you should probably tell sooner rather than later. The longer you keep things from your kits, the more it hurts.
