Rescue Me

A pure white she-cat ran through branches, getting leaves stuck in her long fur. Her blue eyes were frantic, and her delicate claws were out. The she-cat was trying to find her younger sister. When she finally escaped the tree branches, she had to struggle through a big swamp. Starlit Crystal grimaced and placed a small paw in the mud. Hissing at the feeling of the goop getting in between her claws, she struggled to take another step. The she-cat continued this until she was belly deep in the mud. Trying to force her paws out of the swamp, she let out a strangled cry. "Help! Somebody! Please, help!" she yowled, thrashing around. Scenting a cat at the edge of the clearing, she thrashed even more. "Help!" she wailed.

The warrior slowly walked through the grassy marsh of his territory, a smile stuck on his face. He hadn't really noticed anything about what surrounded the camp, he cared much more about picking fights. Why did I hang out with Bonekit? He knew that she was the reason he had changed, she had to be. all that negativity was absorbed. The water that covered his paws made him feel like he was washing all the negativity away, each step he felt better. And Falconkit, she was a r- his thoughts were interrupted by the scream of a desperate cat. He ran to where he had heard the sound, spotting the cat. Had he seen her before? He was sure not just anyone would cross the border, but he didn't recognize this face. Well, the fur too. He wasn't sure what to do. Should he help the cat, and question her, or leave her? Letting out a sigh, he made his way over to the thrashing cat, careful not to sink too far in. He bit into her scruff, and tried to pull her out of the thick mud.

Starlit Crystal pushed with all her might, and sighed with relief as a tom pulled her out of them mud. The sound of the she-cat being pulled from the mud was a loud, unpleasant squelching noise. "Thank you!" she panted. "I'm Starlit Crystal. Who are you?" she asked, taking her first real look at Muddyfoot. Tilting her head to look at him, she smiled.

"Starlit... Crystal?" the name seemed a bit strange. It wasn't like any normal name he had heard of before. Sure, there were some, unique, names, but Starlit Crystal didn't seem like a name someone in a clan would be given. It seemed like... "Uh, you're not in a clan, are you?" that seemed to be the only answer. Unless, she just had an abnormal name. Still, he would have to do something about her since she crossed into his clan's territory.

Tilting her head, the beautiful cat was confused. "What is a Clan? Is it one of the big groups that live in the forest?" she asked, twitching her ears.

"Oh dear." The trespassing cat seemed to have no knowledge of the clans... Should he just let her go? It wasn't really her fault at all, she had no idea she was stepping on Shadowclan territory. "We need to get out of here, before someone finds out."

Starlit Crystal nodded and stood up, carefully avoiding the mud patch.

He turned around, and started to walk towards the Thunderpath. "Muddyfur." he said, still looking ahead. "What are you doing here?" He couldn't just let her go, he had to ask a couple questions first. He would already get in trouble for letting her go.

Starlit Crystal gasped. She'd forgotten about her sister! "I was looking for my little sister. She has a habit of getting in to trouble." She explained.

Muddyfur stopped, and stood there for a moment. "I see. Your sister." He wasn't sure what to do. If he got caught helping this cat, he knew something bad would happen. For some reason, he wanted to help her find her sister, even if it landed him in some deep trouble. Besides, she probably wasn't even close. It would be a quick sweep of the territory and then they would be done. "I'll help you look for her."

At the tom's words, she felt a smile of relief growing on her face. "Thank you!" she sighed. "Bellatrix is always all over the place that when I'm looking for her it's not even funny!" she growled, remembering the black cat's little 'adventures'.

Bellatrix, another odd name. Well, what did he expect? Her sister to be in a clan? "So, any idea where she might be?" He didn't want to be running around for no reason at all, trying to find this cat's sister. Besides, this Bellatrix cat would have to be close. Starlit Crystal wouldn't just rush out randomly searching, she had to have had her sister's scent trail.

Tipping her head and closing her eyes, she thought. "Well, she could be over in...what is it called...Sk-skyClan territory?" she asked, opening her eyes and fixing the tom with a questioning gaze.

"I-I see, Skyclan..." Was he really going risk getting caught in another clan's territory just for this one cat? For a moment, he thought about just escorting her to the border and leaving her there, but something stopped him. He felt like he was ready to take any punishment that would be thrown at him, but he wasn't sure why. Maybe he didn't want to see someone so innocent disappointing, or was it something different? "We'd better hurry." he said with a huff.

The white she-cat dipped her head and picked up her pace to a lope. "Over here, right?" she mewed as the scent of cats hit her. It smelled familiar, like her sister.
