FeatherKit stepped forward and jiggled while she was given her new name. As SpottedStar spoke the words she always wanted she almost leaped with joy. She was FeatherPaw now. Her mentor LightningStrike. Looking for her mentor she awaited to join him.

Lightningstrike smiled and padded up to his new apprentice. "Hello, Featherpaw!" he greeted. "Today, we'll be exploring the territory." he mewed, hoping this was the right thing to do. After all, you can't hunt at the river when you don't know where it is, right?
