Waking Up [closed???]

Frostkit woke with a start. She'd peeked out of the den after that, and moved to bother her siblings. She prodded both of them. "Hey, it's time to get up," she said coldly. "We should do something." Her blue fur blew in the light breeze, and her cold eyes were nearly emotionless. The only imperfection was the black spot covering her left eye and then some. "Wake up."

Swiftkit turned. "Five more minutes.." She grumbled. Swiftkit turned and closed her eyes. Too tired to talk, she fell asleep.

"Come on, we're not going to get to sleep in forever," she said, prodding her sibling more. Frostkit nearly sighed. "We might as well get used to it now."

"I guess..." Swiftkit grumbled. She got out oh her nest and yawned. She pricked her ears. "A ceremony! Let's go!!" She called to her sister. "Wait... Um... Frost kit, I have bad news.... Before we go...." She said sadly.

Frostkit flicked her ear. "What happened? I'm not being held back, am I?" She kept her cool, and didn't worry. She'd get there eventually. WindClan couldn't hold her back forever.

Swift kits mood faded. "Whitekit.... Fell off into the gorge... She's.... She's..." Swift paw sobbed.

Frostkit let out a breath. Whitekit was dead. "What was she doing at the gorge?" Silly kit, she shouldn't have left if she did it of her own will. They could mourn her later, there was a ceremony going on.

Swiftkit heart heaved. "We were having fun, being kits, chasing butterflies. We ended up at the gorge. We were about to turn back when the ground fell beneath our paws. I made it but she fell... Into.... River....." Swiftkit said sadly.

"Why did you leave camp?" Frostkit asked. "You know it's dangerous." She sighed. "It's sad that she's gone, but I suppose it was StarClan's will. We have a ceremony now, thought. Let's stick to thinking about who's alive."

"We didn't realize we left camp, we were too caught up in catching that bug and..... Okay. You're right, let's get to that ceremony."

Frostkit nodded and walked to the crowd of cats, making her way to the front. She hated being harsh, but someone had to do it. These other kits were silly, and she was surprised so many became such good warriors.
