| Yukimura nervously watched the young boys Banette, it looked more mischievous then it should. Biting her lip; the daughter of the masters of the ice nervously played with her hair, I hope they don't find out I get scared to easily.. figuring that it was pretty safe to let her ice type Pokèmon back out, she secretly had hoped that it won't bother the others. "S-Setsuko Yukimura.." She replied a bit shakily, quickly letting Midnight and snowdrop out of their pokèballs. |

| Later. . .
No Kagomes had joined them. No Oshiros, or Fukuis, or Tsukinos, or Kurosawas, or Yamauchis, or even any Nakaharas, who had been loyal to the crown consistently for the last four hundred years. That struck Kasumi has ominous, although she might just have been fretting for no reason. Maybe they've already arrived at court...
The first stars had come out and began to twinkle in a dark sky lit up by fireworks. The dragon banners and the Inoue flags all fluttered in a cool light breeze blowing in from the sea, and the summer air was fresh and crisp and spicy with the scent of flowers mingled with salt spray. Kasumi couldn't see any flowers anywhere she looked, however. That was another odd thing about Fujiwara. The sooner we get out of here, the better.
She had learned a lot of things about the other noble children after the day she'd spent with them in that damned hotel. Kasumi had also learned that they were the last kinds of people she wanted to be stuck with. Lady Yukimura was as timid as a mouse. Miyamoto was creepily silent. Tanaka Aika and the Yoshida girl had especially began to get on her nerves. Just until tomorrow. Unless the Emperor asks us to stay longer.
When night had fallen, men in black suits had arrived in the hotel, instructing them that they were now free to come to the Imperial Palace. They'd all donned traditional dress for the occasion ― kimonos, mainly, and had been led outside. "Free to come" turned out to mean "escorted." The men in black didn't speak to them, but from their hushed muttering, she'd been able to discern that they hadn't been able to catch the scraggly old man from earlier. Apparently he'd been dodging authorities all day, appearing in one section of the city to preach, and then popping up in another. She wondered how he managed it, and where he was now.
The Palace rose in front of them now, dark and foreboding against the night, looming and leering down from a great big hill.
They were nearly to the top now, but already Kasumi felt out of breath as she struggled to maintain a dignified pose. Kimonos weren't made for walking up hills. Why did they have to build the Imperial Palace here? She hardly felt like a noble lady, with sweat beginning to trickle down her cheek. They must have climbed hundreds of steps just to get this far. The other nobles were not far behind her.
Guards waited at the top, standing sentry to tall bronze doors, brilliantly decorated to look like two dragons locked in combat. One was black, blazing with a blue fire, while the other was white and aflame. The guards might as well have been carved from stone, with their faces hidden behind plain, unadorned masks. Both carried staffs that were tipped in gold. That wasn't what put Kasumi on edge, however.
The Palace had no windows. No torches blazed on the outside, no lamp posts, nothing. It looked more like a sheer wall of marble than a royal residence.
As they neared the top, the two guards crossed their staffs in unison to form an X over the door, barring their entrance.
"Who would enter the Imperial Court of His Royal Majesty?" one of the guards rasped. He had the voice of a man well past eighty, yet he stood straight and tall. Six black pokéballs hung loosely from his hip.
Kasumi answered after a moment to collect her breath, blue fire blazing in her eyes. Her kimono for the occasion was blue as well, patterned with blue waves like water and glittering with pearls. The sigil of her clan was stamped on the back. "His loyal subjects and the children of his governors. Mizushima Kasumi, Tanaka Aika, Himura Hideaki, Kita Asa, Akiyama Chiyo, Yukimura Setsuko, Yoshida Naomi, Takahashi Akio, and Miyamoto Yashushi." She had been drilling their names in her head all day so she wouldn't forget. Hopefully she had not left anyone out.
"For what purpose?"
"To witness His Majesty's coronation, so he can be confirmed as Emperor in the sight of gods and men." That much was clear, but this whole exchange was more ceremonial than anything. She'd expected such questions and had rehearsed beforehand.
The guard did not lower his staff, however. "His Majesty requests you leave your Pokémon before entering the Imperial Court."
That she hadn't expected. Kasumi stiffened, all that carefully choreographed noble dignity and composure slipping away. "Excuse me?"
"You must leave your Pokémon here at the Dragon Gate," the guard repeated, "or you shall not pass."
"And why is that?"
He did not answer her question. "They will be returned to you when you exit the Imperial Court. Disarm yourselves or you shall not pass."
Kasumi bristled, gritting her teeth, before reaching into her robes and unhitching the Pokéball belt wrapped around her waist underneath. Not very ladylike... Reluctantly, she pulled them out and dropped them at his feet. She threw a venomous glance behind her shoulder, to implore the others to do the same. The guards only watched in stony silence, waiting. ______________________________________ ‹‹ former site administrator ›› pm me |

| A multitude of things had happened that had resulted in the fine evening of the coronation. For a Yoshida, she was fairly cheerful and absolutely absent-minded, clumsy and clueless to an extent. Always with a smile on her, Naomi was quick to take responsibility for any accidents that took place in the hectic room filled with noble children and quite frankly, didn't care if she injured herself in the process. She, unlike some of the other heirs, hadn't bothered to form any opinion about her roommates - all that really mattered to her was that she knew that they could see the kindness in the other people, even if they didn't quite represent it fully or tried to conceal it as best as they could. Deep down, they were all very nice people trying to do the right thing after all. Maybe it was a horrible thing, but she didn't really take sides nor considered anyone her enemies because of her optimistic and easily-forgiving nature. All she truly cared about at the moment was helping and supporting others through whatever they were facing. Being escorted by her own personal guards towards the Imperial Palace upon the hill, spreading fireworks across the sky as the first stars glistened in the distance, and the different aroma of fresh summer breeze and sweet flowers made the place all the more soothing. As they trekked up the massive hill, Naomi resisted the urge to give up and kept trying to encourage the others by continuously stating with the same smile and optimistic voice, "Don't worry, we're almost there!" Struggling to stand straight herself, she hoped that it didn't show through too much in the end, and by the top of the steps, she was making sure she wasn't panting or running short of breath, and quickly cleared her throat to regulate her respiration once again. Like the other nobles, Naomi herself was dressed in a kimono. While reluctant to at first before being pressured by Mawile, she had let her hair fall down straight rather than her twin tails, but retained a hair clip with a cherry blossom flower on it. Hanging off the clip was three strings of petals. Her kimono was a pale, elegant pink and had darker hues of flower prints on it while finished off with a purple sash tied gracefully into a bow in the back, the ends still cascading gently with the wind. Her hands were covered in general by the sleeves, but she held a matching and rather large traditional parasol to shade herself. The outfit was specially designed for her back at home wen she was sent to represent the Yoshida family, and the simplicity and delicate appearance represented the masters of Fairies in full. When Kasumi had listed off their names and the reason they were attending, Naomi listened to the conversation as she observed the people coming in to witness his Majesty's coronation. From listening, it seemed as though the Mizushima had well-rehearsed beforehand - which was a good thing since she hadn't planned anything herself in advance. The one thing that caught her off-guard was the fact that they had to leave their Pokemon at the gates, but quite frankly, Naomi didn't question it. She wasn't even close to suspicious about the whole affair and swiftly removed her trusted team from herself, and was about to hand them to the guards when... THUMP! One step closer and she had tripped on her long kimono before falling forward, dropping her Pokeballs at the feet of the garrison. Giving a soft and nervous laugh, Naomi got back on her feet as quick as she could without falling back or forward in the process and swept away at any rubble that might have gotten caught on her kimono. "Whoops..." the Yoshida muttered quietly under her breath, hoping that no one heard her. Kasumi seemed to be highly reluctant about unhanding her Pokemon, but Naomi didn't see what the trouble about it was. It wasn't like anything bad was going to happen, right? "Please take care of my Pokemon as the coronation takes place." Naomi said respectfully as she gave a bow to the security staff, lowering her head down slowly. In the process, she hadn't quite noticed the missing families either... Though, that might be the case due to the fact that she was in the neighboring room rather than the same as the rest of the heirs for whatever reason that might be - it was an arrangement by her family, but, nonetheless, Naomi had spent her time in the other room. Looking up at the closed-in palace that had no windows or inner lights yet a beautifully ordained door with gold, luminous dragons locked into combat, caused her to slightly frown and become curious - not because of why the royal structure didn't have any lamp posts or ways to see the outside world -, but why the gate in was decorated with one dragon beating up another. That wasn't very nice... Aren't they supposed to be honoring dragons as the Inoue family? Trying to conjure up an idea as to why they would do such a thing, Naomi let out a sigh as she gave up, unable to notice what was so odd about Fujiwara as a whole. OOC: Basically her entire kimono outfit and stuff here except with the right hair color and eye color. >v< Fear my wall of text.______________________________________ ‣ year 06: 5/4/2012 ⌈ la-veritta ♡ ⌉ ❝ Until the day his wings heal and he's able to fly... | A girl walked after the others. She took her time as she walked after them, seeing no hurry to get their in time. Her eyes seemed to skip across the room, filled with bright colors and many children. The room buzzed with many adults whispering to each other, and the children jumping around causing more and more trouble. Asa tried to avoid much trouble as she can, trying not to get any more attention then she already was attracting.
She made her way up the tall hill, it was a dark peaceful night with many stars. She paused for a minute causing the others to stop behind her, the quiet was broken by a few booms of the fireworks. They were quite eye-drawing; the colorful Reds,Blues,Golds,Greens and purples stopped Asa right in her tracks. As she gazed up the sky taking everything in; the stars, fireworks, the salty air smell. It just felt so refreshing.
Like every other noble in the group, Asa was showing off a dazzling green kimono; the kimono seemed slightly longer then then others causing it to drag abit on the floor. The Kimono had dark green leaf's scattered around all over it making it a bit more 'creative' along with the kimono Asa wore her hair down a beautiful light green silk hat placed on her dark brown hair. Finishing the look as she tied the two strings together making a cute little bow behind her back.
The young heir grew a bit tired of walking, her long kimono just seemed to drag her down with every small to lightest step. The girl let out a sigh of relief when the people in front of ner said they were almost to the top. Her eyes looked off somewhere as they walked, almost bumping into someone infront of her a bit confused, oh introductions. The daughter of the masters of grass bowed in respect after Kasumi said Asa's name her hat almost slipping of her head.
Quickly shotting her head up when they said they need to leave their pokemon to enter the palace, she gave the others a unsure glance, not sure what to exactly think of this. Asa pretended not to see Naomi falling on her face infront of the royal guards. Slowly walking forwards after them and reaching for her pokeballs that she had tucked under her kimono. Revealing the belt of her six pokemon, she handed the belt to him with two hands. "I trust you will take good care of my pokemon."She said giving a bit of a stern look at each of the guards before she bowed and backed away.
Asa stared at the palace that seemed like no one lives their, it seemed lifeless unless these people just like sitting creepily in the dark. |

| The ghost clan heir did his best to hide his exhaustion as they climbed the stretch of steps. Yashushi didn't observe like his peers did. Instead he just focused on climbing the steps, thighs burning from the work out. Because of his young age, he didn't have as developed muscles, or as long as legs. He didn't want to be the last one to the top. That would be embarrassing. So instead, he hurried behind Asa.
He lifted one part of his kimono so he may walk up the stairs without tripping. The kimono it's self was a dark purple, with a variety of patterns, mostly of circles that where a lighter purple. Accents of white decorated his kimono. His pant part of the kimono was a bright white and a sash tied it all together. The Miyamoto clan symbol adorned the sash just like the other's.
Yashushi followed in after the three girls. Seeing that their Pokemon where taken away, or well...forced to be left behind, He had time to prepare. Stowing away one of his Pokeballs into his kimono, Yashushi put on a kid-esk attitude to draw attention away from himself. Placing his Pokeballs with the others, he followed along, a small smile on his lips. It seemed to the outside that he was just cheerful. Which was a contrast to when he was in the hotel, so he was sure the others would notice. ______________________________________ ✲Sleepycloud✲ || ✲Hopepaw✲ || ✲Lakekit✲ |

| Aika didn't even bother worrying about the lack of other families, she was here to represent her clan and nothing more. She wanted to keep a noble like stature the whole time even though she wasn't really noble like at home. Before leaving the hotel, Aika dressed herself in a brown kimono that was laced with what appeared to be desert like flowers. Very fitting. She thought to herself.
She hadn't bothered to get herself associated with any of the other nobles for she knew once this was over she would be back in the isolation of the desert probably never having to see any of them again. She wasn't much for interaction either the quiet suited her just fine, but there was none here. The loud noises from the fireworks kinda startled the girl every time one popped, but she tried to not let it show as she followed the crowd to the palace.
In her eyes the palace wasn't anything special, and the lack of any lighting scared her. Why would such a place not have any light especially since people lived there? Or at least appeared like it. Aika gave off a soft sigh when they finally made it to the entrance of the palace. When she heard that they had to leave their pokemon Aika's head snapped up and looked at the guards. Garchomp would have a miltank if he wasn't around. Maybe there would be a way around maybe she could hide one pokeball in her kimono, no one knew she had a total of six pokemon so how would she get in trouble if no one knew.
She carefully removed 5 pokeballs from their usual spot, and place them with the other families pokeballs. She didn't bother looking at the guards after doing so. Aika just followed the rest keeping the noble like air she had started the walk with before, keeping even confident strides. No one will know. ______________________________________ "끝나지 않은 이 소설의 페이지 마지막까지 함께 채울래" Tigerstar ✦ Blackpaw ✦ Owlcall ✦ Harespring ✦ Ravenfall ✦ Otterkit Windclan ✦ Thunderclan ✦ Riverclan ✦ Skyclan ✦ Riverclan ✦ Skyclan Leader (Tier 5) ✦ Apprentice ✦ Tier 2 ✦ Tier 2 ✦ Tier 1 ✦ Kit Reaper's Beans | Plotting Pages | Heartchart |

| Hideaki was not bothered what-so-ever by the steep climb up the stairs, almost tempted at several points to pass up the others in front of them and to keep on going, but he didn't want to do anything stupid and pointless that would make him stand out more than he needed too. It was slightly annoying, though. His clan reined in the mountains, every direction you turned, it was nothing but a walk uphill. He must've simply been used to it. Another thing - unlike the others, he'd refused to walk to the palace without his Flareon by his side. The pokemon was his "bodyguard", so to speak, and he didn't trust these royals as far as he could throw the hideous statues that guarded their gates.
The young man, adorned in a garnished white robe with brilliant flames appearing from the bottom up - his clan's sigil on the sash, much like the rest, kept his eyes shifting around warily. Why choose to the ceremony so late into the night, or in such a crude castle? Was every building in this city meant to resemble a prison? No windows, one door, dragon's stone - totally confined and controlled? These people were mad. It didn't surprise him in the least when the guards treated them like peasantry, demanding they surrender their pokemon. He made a tch sound, making no effort in hiding the scowl on his face. This new emperor had to have some serious balls.
He'd expected something like this to happen though and was prepared as well as he could've been. Like the others, he reached into his sash and unhooked the small belt underneath, pulling it up - revealing six sleek pokeballs, all masterfully handcrafted with the finest obsidian. He pulled off the lowest one, reluctantly returning flareon to it's ball and hooking it back to the belt. "If I return to find a single scratch on any of these, you'll certainly be sorry." He said, amber eyes watching the guards defiantly for a moment before setting his belt down and stepping back. ______________________________________ |

| The usually quiet girl was surprisingly giggly today, Setsuko gave everyone that passed her a friendly and bright smile. The others probably knew that this friendly girl was just an act, because lady Yukimura was just a timid shy and sensitive girl who nearly never spoke at all. As she trailed after the other nobles she smiled to herself thinking of how 'great' tonight was going to be. She couldn't stop thinking of it, she wondered how beautiful the palace was and what the new emperor was gonna be like.
The noble lady was dressed in a long white silky kimono she stood out from the others, her structure was small and skinny having nothing really to show off besides a attractive face. Lady Yukimra's kimono was decorated with beautiful details. The snowflakes on her kimono had different patterns and sizes making it look like actual snowflakes that dropped during the frosty winter. Unlike the others she carried a small white umbrella with laced details. And as for the nobles hair, she had it up in a high and tight bun all held up by a pair of chopsticks.
As the others climbed up the hill the lady looked at it with a worried glance. Before she walked up after the others, the night seemed pretty peaceful besides the loud and cracking noises the fireworks made as they went off. The fireworks made Setsuko jump every time hoping nobody would notice. Letting out a soft sigh when they reached the gate she had a strong urge to sit down somewhere, but others might think of it as disrespectful. She wasn't paying attention much to what was going on with the guards but she have a surprised glance to everyone who handed over their pokèballs.
Knowing she had to do the same thing Setsuko reached for five pokèballs her Weavile was secretly hidden in her kimono. Walking over to the guard she dropped her pokèballs rather roughly at his feet, honestly upset she couldn't bring them with her. This probably ruined her mood, she gave a rude glare at them before she walked off after the others. |

| Once all the Pokéballs had been left at the guard's feet, he nodded. The staffs lifted to permit them entry, and without a word, the Dragon Gate creaked open with a drawn out groan like a dying breath.
They were greeted with blackness and cold deathly air, as if they'd just unsealed a tomb. It was a long dark hall with torches blazing along the walls. Shadows leaped and danced in the pale fiery light reflected off the polished marble floor, and long faded paintings of dragons decorated the walls and ceiling, depicting battles long forgotten. On the right side Kasumi could faintly make out a burning city, on the left two armies clashing in a stormy field, up above a Pokémon she didn't recognize, with wings of ice, a long gray neck, and two blank yellow eyes that seemed to follow her as she stepped inside. She felt naked and defenseless without her Pokémon, and found herself wishing that she hadn't just given them up so easily.
Their footsteps echoed in the deathly silence as the noble children trickled into the hall, and when the last of them had made it through, the Dragon Gate shut behind them with a CLANG.
Kasumi threw a glance over her shoulder, her heart leaping in her chest, but she did her best to maintain a calm and cool composure... her best wasn't enough though, and she was clearly on edge as she edged forward through the hall. On the other end was another ornately carved gate, this one in the shape of yet another Pokémon she didn't know. It was gray and red and black, sinister with its great bat-like wings, and eerie with the gold half-rings wrapped around its many legs and serpentine body. As they approached, the gate opened before them, without so much as a knock.
Mizushima froze in her tracks as the Imperial Court opened up to them.
It was the biggest room she had ever seen, so tall that the ceiling was lost in darkness. Great thick beams stylized in the shapes of dragons rose up from the richly decorated floor, and the room was so wide that you could have laid two Wailords in it side by side. There were no torches and no windows, but nonetheless, the room was lit up in an eerie silver glow, like moonlight. Kasumi couldn't find the source... or any commoners, or the other noble children who hadn't appeared at the hotel. More guards lined the walls, all holding those staffs, but she didn't pay any of them attention.
On the far side of the room, one hundred feet ahead, was the throne sitting on a raised platform. It was an ornately carved seat of jade and white marble, supported by two stone Pokémon ― one the white dragon she had seen on the gate, sculpted out of marble, the other the black dragon, carved out of dark onyx. From along the top of the throne leered the gray dragon from earlier, but instead of yellow eyes, two sparkling diamonds glittered in its stone face. A deep blue curtain hung behind it, inlaid with twinkling gemstones in the shape of the sigil of the Inoue clan.
His Imperial Majesty Inoue Ryuunosuke, the Third of His Name, Lord of Ryunoji, Emperor of Homija, and blood of Ryuu the Conqueror, was a short and stunted thing on the throne, with a face shrouded by a black veil. A crown of dark iron was nestled in his long, greasy black hair, and he wore brilliant robes of a deep royal purple. His mother stood nearby, looking beautiful in her melancholy. Her face was twisted in barely concealed terror.
It was a long while before anyone spoke. Empress Dowager Ayame was the first to break the silence. Her voice, shaky and quiet, still managed to ring and echo in the cavernous throne room. "Y-you m-m-may ap-a-approach H-his Majesty." Tears glistened in her eyes, but none of them fell down her cheek. Her face was painted porcelain.
Kasumi swallowed and moved forward, heart beating like a drum. It was a long walk across the room, with no sound but the footsteps of the noble children. Once she reached the stairs at the foot of the throne's platform, she eased herself onto her knees as gracefully as she could manage and lowered herself into a bow so low she could have kissed the ground. When all the other children had followed her lead, there was only silence.
Behind them, the doors slammed shut, and somewhere up above, the rafters creaked. ______________________________________ ‹‹ former site administrator ›› pm me |

| It was much to quiet.
Asa sliently followed the others into the dark and slient palace not daring to say a word as they walked through the long hallway that seemed to be endless. She nervously glanced around the halls a bit annoyed that she couldn't really see anything. And she felt that she had stepped on somebodys foot a few times. "Sorry..." She said in a hush whisper.
The noble almost lept forwards and hugged someone when the deathly slience was broken by a loud CLANG, she glanced around nervously again sliently praying that something bad wouldn't happen.
As the doors opened up to them she slowly walked in keeping a brave and stern look locked onto her face. Almost letting out a small gasp of shock, she never expected this to be in such a creepy palace. A huge room filled with guards and servents, this palace surely was different.
Kita slowly approached after Kasumi going down into a bow gulping as she heard something creak above.

| The painful screeches of the door opening caused Naomi to cover her ears and look away as the gateway to the palace unveiled itself once the nobles were permitted access, its hoarse cries stinging her. What seemed as though a never-ending, pitch black tunnel lay ahead of them with no signs of light.
As she followed the rest of the group in, Naomi felt as though something seemed a bit off, but attempted to dismiss it for the time-being. Then, before she realized it, the thing that seemed incorrect was that Asa had been stepping on her foot on multiple occasions, and the Fairy master heard her whisper an apology. Shaking her head and giving a gentle, apologetic smile, she replied softly, "No, I'm sorry... I should've realized you were next to me."
Met with still and bitter breezes, symbolizing death and Yveltal's breath itself, the dim torches bringing no comfort to the Yoshida. Though, she kept her fake, optimistic smile, trying to conceal her unease about the hallways and the depictions that ordained the walls with brutal, violent images. It didn't seem right - even if it was to display their valor of that day, why keep an image that displayed the sacrifices of people and prize it as such? As she clutched her sleeves and glanced slightly ever so often around to see what was there and if they were getting closer, one glyph captured her undivided attention - one which presented a Pokemon of icy cold, hollow gold eyes with a harsh glare, and a body of untarnished grey. The whole ordeal still didn't come off as suspicious to the heiress, though leaving behind her Pokemon had made her start to doubt whether this was a good idea.
The gates closing abruptly behind them as the last entered in, their clopping footsteps breaking the eerie and somber silence of the building, Naomi held herself and soon found that she had gotten over the terrors of being inside, realizing it wasn't as unusual as she had anticipated, letting go of all suspicion she originally assumed were true.
Seeing Kasumi's own unease, Naomi, following right behind her, was about to tap her on the shoulder and remind her everything was going to be just fine, only to widen her eyes at a serpent-like creature looming on the wall with its outstretched wings shaped in a "Y", crimson red and midnight black covered across it and shining blue eyes watching with a glower. Shaking her head to ignore it and to not look back at the image as it tried to captivate her interest, the Yoshida heard the door creak open without even the sound of the knock. Were they watching them or had they heard them come in? It didn't seem to make sense that no signal told the to-be-crowned emperor that they had arrived.
Eyes widening in amazement as she entered the Imperial Court with ceilings reaching for the stars and an outstretched room with more space than enough for a royal ballroom, grand beams towering above with dragons watching their every move. Although there was no torch, no window, no lamps to be seen to the visible eye, an artificial, silver light shone in the room's center, like the beams that the moon radiated. Naomi hadn't bothered noticing the many guards lined up for security in the room nor the still missing representatives of the other Clans, only now turning her attention towards the throne and emperor.
What an elegant seat it had, jades and adorned with the dragon's blessings, high and mighty - fit for the elite.
And there he was, the successor of the throne, Ryuunosuke. He wasn't quite what she had thought after hearing he was Yveltal's son and the marionette of Giratina. The ruler was a normal human as far as the eye can see - a bit on the short side and noble with the black veil and iron crown. What bothered more though, was the sight of his gloomy mother and the horror etched on her, something she was unable to hide.
As a long silence awaited them and Ayame abruptly interrupted the eerie tranquil, her voice resonated through the large room, shaky and wispy, tears shone from her eyes that refused to fall for whatever it cost.
While it was yet another long trek - at least not going upward this time around -, Naomi followed the others towards the two royals across the marvelous space, she could've sworn that she had heard some sort of creaking above them, causing her to pause in her walk and have the person behind her bump in, and once again, Naomi apologized, not caring how they reacted, "I'm sorry." After reaching the throne's platform below, the Yoshida quickly followed the other heirs and heiresses by getting on her knees, clamping her hands together and bowing, her palms facing the ground and separated by a triangle shape created by her fingers.
The Yoshida was quietly muttering some sort of incantation of blessing or the like or even a prayer and offering, though what she was meaning was unknown.
And the silence continued until the doors beyond them shut closed with a loud noise. ______________________________________ ‣ year 06: 5/4/2012 ⌈ la-veritta ♡ ⌉ ❝ Until the day his wings heal and he's able to fly... I will protect him. ❞ |

| Yashushi followed in reluctantly. The fact they they weren't allowed to bring in their Pokemon set the Ghost heir on edge. Infact, with his inexperience, and young age, he felt scared. There was something just plain wrong. It wasn't supposed to be like this? What's going on? Swallowing his fear, Yashushi pushed forward making his foot steps match the others in a concentration to not pay attention to the surroundings. Because, even if he was the heir to the Miyamoto Clan, it didn't mean he wasn't frightened. He was only nine, in his first diplomatic trip. Not wanting to draw attention to himself, he didn't look around. Instead, he looked at the new leader. then to the woman to his side, presumably his mother, seemed terrified to say the least. It didn't take much to see that. Approaching the steps, Yashushi followed after Yoshida, on his knees and bowing deeply towards his majesty. Yashushi flinched as the rafters overhead creaked, and the door slammed shut. Something was going to happen... ______________________________________ ✲Sleepycloud✲ || ✲Hopepaw✲ || ✲Lakekit✲ |

| This was all sorts of craziness. Even though Akio couldn't stand getting all dressed up, he really enjoyed being able to walk through the streets of the city looking like the high class he was. It showed everyone just how important he could be when he felt like it... even in the middle of the city that looked almost down-right terrifying at night. The tall buildings blocking out the sky was a little intimidating, and even as they were walking up the steps towards the palace, he couldn't help but get an eerie feeling radiating from its walls and gates. It didn't help that as they got closer, there wasn't any light to see any part of the building except for what little light came from the city behind them. It was creepy, to say the least, looking up and seeing no windows or brightness for that matter. Sure, it was the dragon palace, but they really needed to lighten up the place. How could they support an emperor in such a place so filled with dread and discomfort?
Letting out a sigh, he still followed the others to the gate, giving the guard a look of shock when asked to keep all of the pokemon out front. These were his babies, though. He couldn't let go of them like that! What was the point? Did they think the noble children were going to try to attack the emperor with them or something? The emperor was a dragon master. No one but an absolute idiot would try to pull that off. But, everyone else was already giving away their pokemon and setting the pokeballs at the guard's feet. Although it was nearly unbearable, Akio did the same. Pulling off the belt that hug around his waist, he carefully set them on the ground, silently saying goodbye to each one of them before following the others inside of the gates and into the giant room just inside of the large doors.
Looking around, Akio could barely even think to talk. The room was huge! He didn't even know how anyone could live in such a large place and not use much of the space. But, that wasn't his main focus for long. As soon as he took in his surroundings, his eyes quickly focused on the center-point of the room which just happened to be the throne in which the soon-to-be emperor sat on in a very intimidating fashion. Yeah. Akio couldn't help but feel the weight of fear settling into him inside of this place, especially after the doors slammed shut and made him jump almost three feet into the air. Quickening his pace to cross the room with the other noble children, he instantly fell into a bow just as Kasumi had, but he couldn't get his mind off of how unsettling this experience was in just the five minutes they had been here. The darkness of the palace, the eeriness of the room, the fact that they couldn't even bring in their pokemon? He had a terrible feeling inside of him, one that twisted in his stomach to the point of making him feel a little nauseous. He could feel that something wasn't right, but he held a straight face, took a deep breath, and focused on the rest of the coronation. The sooner this was over, the better. |

| When Aika followed the other into the room, she probably noticed how big it was like every one else. It was darker than most places, and the silver glow could make on shudder for it held no source. The decorations gave no surprise to the Tanaka child, this family was a dragon type family, and if no knew that they would easily find out. When she heard a shaky voice she looked over at the empress in surprise, Aika was confused by the terror shone on the woman's face, but something told her that she didn't want to get on the Emperors bad side. She walked forward with the others and once she reached the throne she bowed in one swift movement, giving the same respect the water master did. ______________________________________ "끝나지 않은 이 소설의 페이지 마지막까지 함께 채울래" Tigerstar ✦ Blackpaw ✦ Owlcall ✦ Harespring ✦ Ravenfall ✦ Otterkit Windclan ✦ Thunderclan ✦ Riverclan ✦ Skyclan ✦ Riverclan ✦ Skyclan Leader (Tier 5) ✦ Apprentice ✦ Tier 2 ✦ Tier 2 ✦ Tier 1 ✦ Kit Reaper's Beans | Plotting Pages | Heartchart |

| It was a bit strange, Setsuko had been so excited for this night. But now? Now she didn't even have the guts to step into the palace, Setsuko blinked her deep brown eyes only keeping her eyes on the gate. It seemed pretty strange how it was dark and quiet with no light in sight. The daughter of the ice masters gave a nervous laugh sliding to the back of the group. Admiring Kasumi's great bravery and leader skills, getting the young Nobel to think what exactly was going on in everyone else's mind.
Softly gulping. Yukimura handed her white umbrella to one of the guards, not wanting to deal with the annoying thing during the couration. Slowly walking into the Emperors Grand entrance way, a bit restless, the young girl hated the dark. Setsuko was practically pressed onto the person in front of her as the gates closed loudly behind them. Her copper like eyes flickering behind her shoulders every few seconds.
A bit in awe as they managed to reach the room with many others, besides commoners. The Slim girl reluctantly followed the others with small and stiff movements as the approached the new Emperor. Feeling pressured and uneasy, looking at her feet every now and then as she walked. Feeling very tense as they finally approached him, she remembered her breathing exercises silently doing them.
She went into a crouch, though it seemed a bit odd, it seemed more like she was begging for mercy then actually showing respect. She didn't really notice that her bow was different from the others, but she felt more eyes turn to her direction.
The noble shook when she heard the creak above them and the loud bang behind them. |
