This is why kits are told to stay in camp

It was a somewhat peaceful day. The sky was clear of all clouds and the sun shone bright. Of course it would be more peaceful if a certain sphinx kitten hadn't decided to go on an "adventure". Spotkit had gotten bored of being stuck in camp all the time, so she decided to explore the territory. She managed to get out of the camp easily, all the cats would mind were busy on border patrols or hunting, and all the cats who were in camp either didn't notice or didn't care. She managed to get near the edge of SkyClan territory where there were no trees before she heard pawsteps behind her. "I... I'm just looking around the territory! I'm alright..." she said, before she heard a screeching sound above her. She looked up and saw a large, brown bird flying towards her. Spotkit ran as fast as she could away from the hawk, but she couldn't run fast enough. The large bird grabbed Spotkit in its talons and flew away. "Help me! Help! Please help me!" Spotkit shouted at the top of her lungs to the other cat below her, but she knew it was pointless. There was nothing she could do.

Morningbreeze was hunting, that is of course, until she heard the kit wandering around the territory, like nobody would care. She padded right up behind her and was about to scold her, when a giant bird scooped her off the ground, and into the Sky. "Wait get back here, you Fox dung," Yelled Morningbreeze to the hawk as she chased after it, looking up the whole time, causing her to run into bushes and undergrowth. Morningbreeze looked around for something...anything to help her save the kit. She found a tree. As fast as she could go, Morningbreeze ran and scurried up the trunk. She climbed to the tallest branch, then waited, and pounced as far as she could onto the bird, hoping not to hit Spotkit. Her plan was to land on the bird, making to much wait on it to fly, causing it to fall to the ground, saving Spotkit.

The hawk managed to swerve away from Morningbreeze, almost letting go of Spotkit as it did so. It then flew up above the trees and over SkyClan territory until it was well out of sight and reach of anyone (apart from other birds of course). Spotkit was never to be seen again.

Morningbreeze smashed into the ground. She quickly looked up, but Spotkit was nowhere in sight. "Spotkit!" Yelled Morningbreeze, but there was no reply. She started to cry. She had failed Dotkit, and now she was to die. She slowly padded back to camp.

Barkkit looked up as she heard a snif "What is wrong?" she said seeing another cat and this one was crying. All she knew was, this was a home or camp and they lived there among other cats. This made things more confusing because all she wanted to do was play.

"Nothing. Just go and play." Morningbreeze replied.

"Okay!" Barkkit replied gleefully. She stopped and looked back " Will you play?" She turned to the cat.
