Coalheart tightened her grip on the twig, and a heartbeat later, another kit was born. She began grooming it, and gently pushed it to her belly. She gasped and bit down on the stick so hard it splintered. Another kit was born. She repeated the process.

OOC: Ok, how about if I choose what one looks like and the name, then you do one and so on. Is that Ok? I wouldn't mind a white and grey she-cat.

A small purr echoes around the throat of Minnowflash. He began warming up the kits. Then the stick splintered. The warrior dashed away quickly to return with another stick. "I'm so proud of you." He whispered.

Coalheart smiled weakly and soon another kit was brought into the world. She looked down, and knew right away what she would name one of them. Minnowflash would help her name the other three. She felt herself getting weaker and weaker. After a minute, she looked up at her mate. "Goodbye, Minnowflash.." she whispered. The last thing she saw was her family.

Goodbye, Minnowflash...

"No! Coalheart I can't look after these kits! Coalheart don't leave me!" The warrior begged as he crouched at her side, his heart clenched as if a badger had grabbed hold of it. "Ok, let's name the kits. This light grey and white one...Cloudkit. What do you want to call the black tom?" Minnowflash realised they had to get on and named the kits before their mother left to StarClan.

Coalheart fought to keep her eyes open. "The gray and black one, Lightingkit of ThunderClan." She murmured softly. The gray cat sighed and closed her eyes. "Goodby, family.." This time she was gone.

"No, no Coalheart! Coalheart!" Minnowflash buried his muzzle into her neck fur. "Coalheart, please I love you just hang on." The distraught warrior begged. Two kits still needed naming. So far there was Lightningkit, a grey and black tom and Cloudkit, a lighter grey and white she-kit. "Ok, Minnowflash, keep yourself together for the kits." The new father drew in a deep breath and looked down at the helpless new-borns. "The dark grey she-cat-" Minnowflash broke off as he realised the kit he was about to name looked exactly like her dead mother. "Cinderkit." He then turned to the grey and silver tabby. "And this one Rainkit." The father licked each of the kits in turn. "Now what do I do..."

A spirit rose up from Coalheart's dead body. It stared at Minnowflash and their kits, and nodded once. The spirit dipped its head and vanished.
