Time alone...or not

Maplepaw padded through Thunderclan's territory, concealed in darkness. The sliver of the moon didn't give off much light, and the stars didn't either. Soon, she arrived at the Thunderpath. The night was cold, and she curled into a ball by its edge. She needed to get some time alone. Being an apprentice was hard work. Soon she heard someone padding around on the other side of the Thunderpath. She looked over and saw a figure emerge from the darkness. "Hello?" She asked.

jaypaw was following this cat watching her he needed to attack. Taking a deep breath jaypaw flexed his claws out and bunched his muscles getting ready to pounce. "Three...Two....One!!!" Jaypaw leaped ontop of Maplepaws back his weight dragging the tabby she-cat down. "What are you doing crawling around the dark?" Jaypaw hissed into the cats ear.

Maplepaw was surprised from the cat that had attacked her. "N...nothing! I swear! I'm just trying to have some alone time!" She struggled under the other apprentice's weight. "Please, I mean no harm!"

"Alone time huh..." Jaypaw huffed leaping off the apprentice and giving his pelt a quick shake. He stopped giving a paw out to the apprentice "Come on get up." He growled his ear flicking backwards

Maplepaw gladly took his paw and got up. "Thank you, I'm Maplepaw by the way," She said, sitting down and grooming her fur.

Jaypaw huffed "Im jayp--" his fur bristled across his neck when a monster came
racing by giving his head a shake he meowed. "Im jaypaw." He studied the brown tabby "Sh- Shes beautiful..." Jaypaw said to himself

Maplepaw's fur glistened in the starlight. "What was that?" She asked after Jaypaw had mumbled something.

"Not sure.. lets just move follow me." Jaypaw beckoned Maplepaw with his tail slipping into brambles his eyes glowing in the darkness he waited for Maplepaw then he started padding away toward a spot that seemed like a giant hole in the ground.

Maplepaw followed, unsure of what to think of this cat. "Where are we going?" She asked nervously.

"Somewhere quieter." Jaypaw mewed uncovering the tunnel that lead underground his ear twitched "Go first Maplepaw don't worry its safe." he said lashing his tail.

Maplepaw didn't know if she should trust this Shadowclan apprentice or not, but she went in anyway. The tunnel was dark, and there were some puddles on the ground. She moved over, giving Jaypaw some room.

Jaypaw slipped in brushing past Maplepaw going deeper into the tunnels which eventually opened into a wider space

Maplepaw followed Jaypaw, the tunnel getting a bit darker as they went deeper. "So..." Maplepaw said, not knowing what to talk about.
