A Newbie...

After eating, resting, and getting a bath; Cloudykit woke to see ShadowClan camp. She got nervous when she saw so many cats she didn't know, and shrunk back into the Nursery entrance a bit. She didn't know a single cat to even speak to outside of Bearmask and Thrushstar, the latter being a tough target to get to talk to in the first place because he was likely busy.
She watched in fear of all the cats, unsure of what to do.

A new smell came to Badgerkit's nose as he awoke. Was that...rouge? He immediately scoped out the target and pounced. "What are you doing in Shadowclan, rouge?" He spat. Badgerkit started to dislike this...this...outsider just by looking at her. She had a strange pelt.

Cloudykit yelped as she was tackled, and then she whimpered. "I-I'm Cloudykit! Bearmask is taking care of me! And her father let me live here!" She squirmed. "Please get off me!"

Badgerkit inspected the kit closely. "Mhmm...where is your parents?" He asked, still on top of this so called "Cloudykit"

"I-I don't know..." she said sadly before growing scared again. "But Bearmask is my mommy now! So get off me"

After a few seconds, Badgerkit slowly stepped off of the younger kit. "Why do you...look funny?" He asked, poking at some of the spots on the kit's pelt.

"I dunno," Cloudykit replied as she stood again. "I was always like this. My brother had funny spots too." She turned to see her own spots better and turned in a circle once clockwise and once counterclockwise.

Badgerkit laughed nonstop. "You look like a monster cat!" He said between laughs.He started rolling on the floor from laughing so hard.

"There is no way you could hunt with such a pelt! It's pathetic!" Snickered a she-cat her almost luminous gaze looking over the she-cat, her 'eyebrows' raising in a humorous manner.

Cloudykit's ears drooped and she looked away as Badgerkit laughed. "Technically, you look funny to me since I've never seen another cat before yesterday," she mumbled. She didn't dare say anything to the other cat. And since the only thing to come to mind was -And you probably can't hunt when you make all that noise-, she said nothing.

"What?" Badgerkit asked Cloudykit. He heard her mumble something, but all he could get out of it was "you look funny". Badgerkit was mad. "I do not look funny!" He rammed into Cloudykit's side, sending her tumbling down to the ground.

Greypaw only sat there with amusement, a smirk spread across her face at the sight.

Cloudykit let out an "ow!" as she fell to the ground. "I said that you look funny to me, too. I've never seen another cat until yesterday. I didn't mean that you look bad, just that you're strange to me too." She stood and shook dirt out of her fur. "I'm sorry."

Badgerkit stood there with a mad face on. "You better be sorry," he said angrily. "I doubt you'll ever fit in with this clan, first of all, you can see your pelt all the way from two leg place! And second of all, nobody will except you but your 'mom' if that's what you want to call Bearmask!" With that, he huffed and stomped out of the nursery, kicking up pieces of moss into Cloudykit's face on purpose as he left.

Cloudykit flinched as the moss hit her face, but then laid on the ground sadly. Badgerkit was right- Bearmask wasn't her mom. She'd never had a mom, or a dad. The only family she had known had stopped moving one day and never moved again. "You're right," Cloudykit said sadly. "I'm weird. But at least Bearmask loves me...right?"
