Maplepaw's out-of-camp exploration

The last night had been tough for Maplepaw. She was used to the warm and cozy nursery, but now she had to sleep in a cold, hard apprentices den. As she walked out into the bright daylight, the sun's rays heated her up. She wanted to just lay down in the center of camp and soak up the sun, but she didn't want the clan to think that she was just a lazy apprentice. As she looked around, her gaze fell on the camp entrance. She hadn't been out of camp since she was a kit when she escaped. Maplepaw padded to the entrance, getting faster as she got closer. A figure suddenly appeared I front of her and she ran into it. "Hey!" She yelled as she lost her balance and fell down.
