The Exploration

Silkpaw had set off to explore camp, much like a kit would. Slowly, she crept through the undergrouth, finally making it to camp.

The first light of dawn rose from the dark blue sky, letting the birds sing their beautiful music. Silkpaw purred and let the sweet smells of newly bloomed flowers fill her nose. She got up and admired the crunching sound the burnt leaves made when she stepped on them. So beautiful. It's like nothing I've ever seen, it's better.

Fawnpaw noticed Silkpaw slip out of camp, quietly she padded up behind her and nudged her. "While we're out would you like to see the old camp?" She mewed her leaf - green eyes shining in the morning sun.

Silkpaw turned to Fawnpaw and purred. "Sure!" She purred.

Fawnpaw purred back and let the younger cat take the lead, she mewed, "I presume you know where the camp is?" She inquired curiously.

Silkpaw glanced back at Fawnpaw. "Not exactly... But I'm following the scents, as old as they are." The white she-cat explained quietly.

"Very smart Silkpaw!" The older apprentice mewed approvingly letting the younger cat lead her.

"Have you ever been to the camp?" The apprentice asked, padding on for what seemed like forever.

-TIME SKIP-

We're here! Finally... The white she-cat thought, then flicked her tail in the way of the camp entrance.

Fawnpaw's eyes widened It's beautiful! She gave a little jump and padded inside.
