So This is the Camp...

So this is what it looked like. This was what the original Skyclan camp looked like. It was still pretty overgrown from what Nightfoot could tell, but then again, living in the forest was a new experience for her. She was used to the twoleg place and digging through the bins next to their nests for food. Now she had to depend solely on her ability to hunt for food that she couldn't really reach. She had slowly been learning how to climb trees as well as Silentstar could. It was crazy to watch a cat with such talent. That was probably what drew her in. The old she-cat held such power and authority even though she looked so aged. She was different from any cat Nightfoot had ever seen and after Silentstar had changed the loner's name from Aisha to this strange warrior name, the younger she-cat actually felt like she belonged somewhere, which was one of the nicest feelings she had felt. Even though she was still having a hard time getting to know and share the other warriors and younger cats--apprentices, she called them-- it was good to have a closer group.

Nightfoot sighed as she took a seat in the middle of the camp and took a good look around. This was their home. There was more work to be done, but she was ready... until she heard others begin to stir around the clearing.

Honeyleaf moved around dirty medicine den, clearing things for stores, and places for sick cats just in case. The medicine cat was already used to being around the clan, and their forest habits because it took a long time for her to learn her skills, and get them up to par. The honey colored she-cat dragged some vines out from the den and noticed Nightfoot sitting in the middle of the clearing. The herb smelling medicine cat made her way over to the warrior, "Wonderful isn't it?"

Creamstorm sat in a lone corner of the clearing, flicking her tail as she stared at the overgrown camp. She snorted slightly, as she shook her head. This was going to be their home...Of course, it was nicer than the strange dens she had lived in before she had joined SkyClan; her old dens would always fall apart in the rain unless they were dragged somewhere where it wouldn't get wet. 

She shook her head as she pulled herself to her feet, letting her gaze shift across the clearing once again. She shouldn't think like that; she had joined SkyClan for many reasons and she wasn't planning to leave now. If this was what Silentstar wanted to call home; who was she to question their leader? She padded from her dark corner but paused not far from Nightfoot. While she had accepted that SkyClan was now her home; she still wasn't the biggest fan of some of her Clanmates. Being with so many cats unsettled her...But she sucked it up. However she still didn't want to talk to them. However, when Honeyleaf spoke up; she just snorted in response.

Breezetail looked around the camp with wide eyes, having never seen a place anything like it before. This was far different from any no-fur's park, or backyard, or anything that the rogue had really seen before. It was green, lush with ivy and protected with a thick wall of bramble. The only other way he saw out was to climb one of the rediculously tall trees and move from there. "This place is better than Silentstar described it," The warrior mused. Although he was born a rogue named Breeze, he had given this SkyClan a chance, spending moons learning how to hunt and fight properly, and climb and jump like real SkyClan warriors. He remembered there were days that his legs were so sore he could hardly move, but now they were hardened with muscle. He could live here, defend this place. Give his mother, Flowerpelt, a good place to spend the remainder of her days - and raise his new family. "The kits will be safe here." He meowed, turning to find his mate.

"Of course they will be." Cloudheart said approaching her mate. She glanced around the area of the camp, and looked toward the destroyed dens. "Where is the nursery?" The fluffly white she-cat asked looking around the spands of the camp.

Goldkit and Sandkit padded from under their mother's legs, both looking around with wide eyes. Sandkit was first to say something. "Wow, the trees are so-"
"Tall?"
Shooting her brother a glare, she went on. "Is this really our home now, momma?"
"Well, it's a dump." Goldkit mumbled under his breath, which provoked his sister to let out a exasperated growl and leap at him, dragging her brother to the ground and pulling on his ear with her teeth.

Nightfoot looked between the cats that had arrived and didn't say a whole lot. There really wasn't a whole lot she could say anyway. When Honeyleaf said something about the place being wonderful, she couldn't really agree. She didn't know what to think about the place. But then more cats showed up, commenting on how the place looked. Even one of the other warriors.. or Nightfoot recalled her being called a queen, couldn't really tell where they were supposed to sleep. When Breezetail said something about it being better than he could imagine, Nightfoot huffed. "I don't know about that. The place is overgrown with all sorts of plants. What are we supposed to do with it?" she asked cynically.

Robinstep tried to hold back a giggle as she watched the kits play-fight. She was only recently made a warrior, and she was pleased to have a new home. "Why, we're supposed to live here!" She responded to Nightfoot in her kindly voice. "The trees and the smells and the sun shining through the leaves... it's all just perfect! It feels safe. Where better to be than home?" She didn't care what her home was like, she was just glad to have one after her past of being a rogue. It was even better with a family to share it with. "We might have to move stuff around to set up dens, but I think after some work it'll suit us just fine." A pleasant smile curled her muzzle and she couldn't help but purr in her delight.

Honeyleaf looked at the warrior for a moment, then looked at Robinstep "Thank you Robinstep. If all of us work together we can get this place looking its best in no time and we could use some of the stuff as a defense. But what is wonderful about is that we have our home together as a clan." The medicine Cat responded to the warrior. The medicine cat was quiet happy with the camp even though it needed cleaning.

"Goldkit be nice. This our new home where we can make a legacy for ourselves, and not be forgotten." Couldheart responded to her kits. "And if we ask Silentstar surely we will find were you two can play, speaking of playing, where is your brother Smokekit?"

Silverpool padded just about last into the new camp, savoring her new surroundings. Finally, a safe home. Nothing would hurt her right? Not anymore at least, as she had a whole clan to protect themselves and others. Smiling to Robinstep, she mewed. "Good attitude will make just about anything work. We will get this done and this will be home"

"I'm right here, mother!" Smokekit had wandered off on his own, and was covered in cobwebs that had grown in one of the corners of the camp but it didn't seem to effect the young kit. As he came bounding up to his siblings and parents, he grinned as he shook his head, causing some of the cobwebs to fall onto the ground. He soon sneezed, and rubbed his nose with his paw with a soft sigh.

When all the cats started to come around, Creamstorm had withdrawn a few steps back. She said nothing as she stared at them, although she huffed as she glanced at the group of kits. With two of them play-fighting and one of them covered with cobwebs, she sighed. She had no idea how Cloudheart manged to deal with them. If there was anybody that she really respected in this camp; it was the queen for dealing with the trouble-making bundles of fur she called her kits.

A brown tuxedo tom was seated comfortably on a moss-draped branch that loomed over the clearing, watching the cats down below with slight interest. This had quickly become his favorite part in the entire camp. If he could, he'd sleep here instead of what they had proclaimed as the 'apprentice's den'. Maplepaw laid across the wide branch, white paws hanging off without a care. This place really did look like a mess, but it was fixable. In his mind, with honey eyes flicking around the camp, he could imagine the dens strong, cats mingling, and an older version of himself standing on the rather large stone that served as the clan's meeting place. 'If that's going to happen, we might as well start now!' He grinned, stood on his perch, and leaped off, landing with his well-trained and muscled legs.
With a forced shove, he moved a smaller fallen branch to the edge of where a den would soon be. Another flipped away a collapsed roof, giving him a spiderweb between his ears. Completely ignoring it, he swiped away decomposing leaves with his paws and tail. Now a small clearing lay in front of him, ready for it's den to be repaired. "So, what will this one be..?", he mumbled, half to himself.

Padding into the forgotten camp, the aging leader stood tall and chin high, proud of her clan's revival. It had been so long since she had appeared back in her former home, so long since she had to leave the forest to rebuild her ancestor's clan once again to its previous strength. The tom from her dreams, so many seasons ago it seemed to her, was right. Musing back to the ominous words from before on how the sky had truly fallen, but had risen. Her goal had been, ever since then, to prove to the others how strong SkyClan could be, how they had the same capabilities as they did. And at last, it seemed to be that way. Gazing across to the now, overgrown center and heart of SkyClan's territory, Silentstar could only wistfully remember when she, Flamestar, Drizzlekit, Lavenderkit, and all her kin, all her friends, had enjoyed the large camp as a family. How they had cared for each other to the very end.

Of course, all good things must come to an end. StarClan claimed each of her kin, one by one, to the remains of simply her and her kits. Soon enough, Drizzlekit had faded away, never to be seen again. And most of all, she had been forced to abandon Lavenderkit to another clan to reclaim SkyClan's destiny. The efforts have paid off. At last, she could be with her kin once again. How she longed to see Lavenderkit once again, grown and loyal to her new clan. How she longed to meet any descendants that she had never seen once within her life times. Shaking her head quickly, Silentstar knew that things had to be done immediately to settle the clan in. If they were unable to get used to the luscious forest and overgrown vines, so they shall remove the dispensable objects and make the camp new.

Jumping onto the gathering place for the leaders, the graceful she-cat leaped with the same skill she had before, the same powerful hind legs that her ancestors had. And this rock where the leaders brought the clan together, leader before leader before her, Silentstar could recall. Watching her clan come together with deep violet eyes, the silver leader called, "Cats of SkyClan! We have finally arrived at our home, were we truly belong; as you can see, the area needs some cleaning to become sufficient for our living. I will have Nightfoot take a patrol of a few warriors to go catch some prey for us. Afterwards, I would like Silverstorm to organize the rest of the patrols for the day while Breezetail gather apprentices and younger warriors to remove unnecessary vines and branches. Use these to fortify the camp to the best of your ability - I will come by and help each group when needed."

Willowstream, only walking into the camp, was overwhelmed by the beauty and the differences she could see in it. While she was rogue before, the warrior was captivated by the kindness of Silentstar and how the ways of the clans meant that every cat was included and cared for, and not that only the strong survive while the weak starve. Always being a very sickly cat as a kit, the mute she-cat was very timid and didn't quite try to talk to the other warriors, since they.... intimidated her. However, if necessary, she was fine with getting along with them if Silentstar or Elea asked... Since she was in debt to them. Without the two - and Silverstorm -, she would've been long gone by now. They gave her the hope that she needed to survive and continue to strive. Indeed, she had given her clanmates her prey at times to help with whatever she could - probably why she's still skinny -, Willowstream wanted to help as soon as possible. And Silentstar's announcement may gave her that chance. Hearing the other cats chatter as she stayed, shrinking in the darkness with her amber eyes gleaming, the pale she-cat waited to be called. She wasn't very strong, nor could she run very well, but she'd be willing to do whatever she could.

Snowpaw hesitantly padded after, jumping at every little movement and sound, slightly regretting her decision to join Skyclan." She padded along and started immediately with working on the over-growth.

Robinstep turned and watched her leader leap with strength. She stared in awe, wondering how the former SkyClan cats were such amazing jumpers. I'll be like that someday... I'll work hard! She resolved silently. She paid close attention to Silentstar's words, excited at the thought of working on the camp. She immediately jumped to her paws when the leader finished her sentenced and looked right at Nightfoot, eager to hunt for the Clan.

Lionfang stood off to the side, away from the large group of cats. He had been exiled from his Clan  and left for SkyClan. He had faith in this group of cats. The leader of ThunderClan, Dewstar, was an unjust tyrant in his mind who didn't deserve the power she held. He was a regular warrior, loyal with a strong resolve to protect his Clan, until the day he'd met a kittypet who changed his life. He loved her, but Dewstar had him exiled for taking a mate outside of the Clan. That self-serving, no good... She knows nothing of fate or love! He hated her with all of his heart, and he hoped to get revenge. He half-listened to Silentstar, taking note only of hunting and building dens. I guess I should do something. He looked around the clearing filled with cats, to see if any patrols were forming.

A small tabby tom, close by the large group but not in it, watched intently as the cats interacted. When Silentstar began speaking, he sat up from his relaxed position and listened closely to her instructions. The adventurous heart in him was happy to have escaped his kittypet life and begin a real adventure. Afterwards, he stayed off to the side thinking that if someone needed him, they would get him.
