Finally they can be together

The sun shone its golden rays on the back of Thornclaw as he crept nearer to the rabbit. He was two fox-lengths away now when the rabbit lifted its head, still nibbling on a grass blade. The brown warrior was almost camouflaged against the dirt, but the ginger spike shaped on his haunches let him down and the rabbit darted off. Thornclaw lunged forward and sped after the prey, he gained speed as he raced downhill, hot on the heels of the rabbit. One...two....three and gotcha! His black paws were on the snapped neck of the rabbit. "Phew." He let out a sigh and padded back up the sun-baked hill, the weather was hot for new-leaf.
