Kits All Up In Yo Buiz

Mistflower carefully inspected the small piece of prey in front of her, trying to be certain it was as clean as it could be, and free of sickness. Finally over her long fever, it was something she dare not fall into again. The queen sat outside of the nursery, watching not only her kits, but others as well - the other Queens taking some personal time to relax themselves. She glanced again at her young pigeon again before starting to pluck the feathers out. Her thoughts had been clouded recently, with the clan finally back in camp. Her kits were older and everything was seemingly quiet, for now.

A small moss ball was thrown across the clearing, flying smoothly with the nightly breeze. "I got it!" Ebonykit mewled, chasing after it, throwing one paw down on it to make sure it stayed down. After she tried to take her paw away, it stuck to her claw, and the she-kit was stuck shaking it away awkwardly for a few heartbeats before smiling again. "Look out!" She shouted to the first kit she saw, wiggling her little shoulders before smacking the ball back in their direction.

That first kit was Bearkit. The fluffy dark brown kit squeaked as she looked up at her sister's cry to see the mossball flying toward her. Scrambling to her feet, she pelted away and hid in the shadows for a few seconds, eying the ball that had come to a complete stop by then. She carefully crawled forward and poked it, before glaring at Ebonykit. "You know I hate it when stuff is thrown at me!" she said with a huff, trying to act brave as she grabbed the ball with her claws and gently tossed it back at her sister, her already puffy fur puffed up to complete precent making her look like a ball of fluff.

Sleetkit lifted her small head from the nest she was sleeping in. With sleepy eyes she looked at the two messing around with the mossball. Slowly she stood up and removed the bits of the nest from her short fur before moving closer to the two. "Can I join you two?" She asked in a soft voice, the sleepiness not fully gone.

Blizzardkit roused from his sleep. His eyes blinked open from all the commotion of playing. He tried to drown out the sounds by pawing at his ears, but it proved fruitless. Fur puffing up, he eyed the kits with tired eyes. "I was sleeping!" he complained with a high voice to the three other kits. Trying to remove the source of the noise, he bowled himself into the moss ball to steal it from them. The black and white kit scooped it up in his jaws, his words muffled. He trotted away from them, tail raised.

Ebonykit's whiskers twitched mischievously, "Sorry, Bearkit." She mused, not very sorry at all. Her sister's tough little attitude didn't phase her at all. The tiny she-kit reached up, batting the moss ball back playfully anyways. "Sure Sleetkit, you can join~." The calico paused when she heard complaining again. Sheesh, didn't any of them know to have fun? It didn't bother though until she noticed what her brother was doing, snatching up her toy and walking away. "Hey! That's mine!" She whined, running and and tackling Blizzardkit, determined to get it back.

Sleetkit followed behind Ebonykit, standing off to the side when she tackled Bilzzardkit. Just as Sleetkit was about to join the other kit had to come and take their fun away. The pale kit just sat off to the side with her tail tucked under her as she watched the siblings fight, sorta.

Where was Icekit in all of this? A corner, that's where. The older kit sat by the corner of the dens mouth, watching the others play around. He chuckled lightly though, breaking his silence as Blizzardkit took the moss away. Even though he was a bit tempted to go join them, but he sat back and let them play on. But a amused grin arose on his muzzle, another slight chuckled coming from him. It fun enough watching them right? Yeah, yes it is.

Bearkit just smiled weakly as Blizzardkit took the mossball and was tackled by Ebonykit. Part of the young kit wanted to go join them in their playfight, but she didn't want to get hurt; the other kits could be so...Rough. She instead let her gaze flicker around the clearing and spotted Icekit and Sleetkit. She weighed witch one she wanted to head over too, and made her way over to Sleetkit, her fluffy tail flicking. "Are you going to join in the play-fight?" she whispered softly as she sat next to the pale kit, her yellow eyes sparkling slightly. "I would but I just know they would beat me." Yea, lets go with that; it wasn't that she was a completely wimp.

Sleetkit glanced over at Bearkit with her blue eyes. She continued watch the two for a bit before answering Bearkit's question. "I don't think so.. This is between them.." the pale kit responded. She wanted to join but she didn't want to at the same time, so Sleetkit decided against it.

Hawkkit watched the commotion from her hiding place behind Mistflower with dark green eyes, her tail curled around her paws. She was still new to the clan and not all that use to the comradery. The only one she was comfortable with so far was her adoptive mother, whom she was currently sitting behind. Her tail flicked slowly as she watched the other kits and a spark of interest lit her eyes when Ebonykit bowled Blizzardkit over. Still, she didn't move from her spot, peering around Mistflower's back.
