Where Do We Go from Here? {All of ShadowClan}

Nightstar sat in the entrance of the tunnel, her blue eyes watching Silverpelt slowly pass by. The roar of the thunderpath had long since drowned out her thoughts. Some cats haven't been found since the attack, others had managed to gather here, in the tunnel. Most clans didn't know of the place because it was too far out in their territory to know about or care about. To the warriors, it was a familiar place, they crossed under the thunderpath here when heading to gatherings.

Every now and again, Nightstar sent out a warrior or to to hunt, gather herbs, and keep an eye out for any other warriors that may have not managed to find their way there. Prey was almost as scarce as it normaly was, they have managed to pick out a scrawny crow or two the farther out they went. The Carrionplace was out of the option, and Nightstar forbid anyone to hunt there. RThe last thing they needed was more of a sickness. Nightstar hadn't told anyone, but she had lost two lives, one from Sickness, the other from starvation. The ShadowClan leader's stomach burned for food like a forest fire. However, she let the clan eat first. The clan always came first.

'Oh StarClan, why is it that my clan has to endure this?'

Her thoughts shattered as she heard someone approaching the tunnel. Thinking fast, Nightstar leaped to her paws, claws out. Ready to defend her Clan's hiding spot.

Cormorantpelt froze in place at the tunnel entrance. She'd followed the scent of a fellow ShadowClan warrior here, and it turned out she'd been right: this is where they'd all gone. Yet it didn't look like she'd been welcomed, what with the stance Nightstar had taken on; though it was hard to tell if Nightstar had even known it was her or not. Either way, Cormorantpelt was not taking the chance.

Setting down her fresh-kill(a good sized rat) she meowed, "Hello? It's my, Cormorantpelt. I followed a scent here." Remembering the punishment Nightstar had bestowed upon her she added, "I even have something to give to any cat who's hungry."

Mallowroot, the scent of herbs thick on his pelt after he helped Mistflower, walked.through some bushes, looking in the distance and seeing Nightstar. The cranky medicine cat gave his occasional smile, seeing Nighstar was alright. He snuck up behind her and sat down, wrapping his tail around paws. "Regrouping, are we?" He grunted, licking a paw and rubbing it over his ear.

Wolfkit blinked as he looked around the desolate area the clan now resided in...Or what was left of the clan. The little tom glanced back at the other kits and queens, then over just in time to see his father pad by, pausing to glance at his son with an agitated look that stayed even as he walked away. Redshade was just angry in general.
The russet tom looked over at the gathering cats and padded over to sit down just a tail-length away since he was uninvited. Now was not the time to be rude to his clan...Their trust in him had seemed to slowly wash away due to past events, and now would be a good time to at least temporarily-restore some of it. He had to stay with his once-loved clan(Or at least liked most of them) so that his only son could grow properly under his watch. His loyalty to Shadowclan had slowly run away into the drain as well, but he wasn't going to leave.
Not yet. For now he wanted to be looked at as a loyal, obedient Shadowclan warrior, even if it was all a lie in the end. Redshade looked at Cormorantpelt and dipped his head. "Cormorantpelt? Looks like you found your way here. Welcome back." He meowed from where he was a ways behind her, with a slight purr to it, "happy" to see his "friend" has returned to them. Yeah this might be harder than he thought, but whatever.

Cormorantpelt's lip visibly curled at Redshade's greeting. It didn't feel right coming from him, of all cat's. She cleared her throat. "Looks like I did... Nice to see you again." There was a faint question in her words, but hopefully that would be ignored.

Still thinking it was best not to actually step inside, Cormorantpelt greeted Mallowroot with a nod.

Nightstar's fur flattened to her body once she caught sight of the warrior. She was upwind of the warrior, to she couldn't recognize her by scent. The leader nodded soundlessly, glad she at least had the clan coming together. Hopefully the others would be found soon, she wouldn't want them to be out on their own, the more cats together the better. Not to mention, sooner as well. Her blue eyes glanced down at the nice sized rat, her eyes narrowed cautiously. Looking back up at Cormorantpelt, to ask a question, she caught the exchange between the two warriors. Frustrated, she filed that in the 'Redshade and Soulfang' files in her memory. It seemed to Nightstar that Redshade was trying to get on everyone's good side. At least they weren't fighting. Nightstar ducked her head to sniff at the fresh-kill, before asking her original question. "Cormorantpelt, where did you catch this?"

Mallowroot gave a small from, Nightstar not even noticing her own medicine cat. Apparently rats were more important? Oh well. He leaned forward by the leader's ear. "Mistflower gave birth to four healthy kits," he whispered, eyeing the crowd, trying to spot Mistflower's mate. "She's well in a cave her and Squirrelpaw. The kits they lead away from the battle are with him," he reported. Hopefully she wouldn't tell them to find this spot. The kits had only just been born, and were not at all fit for a journey.

Redshade figured they'd be suspicious at first, which is why he planned to take this slow. After all, it's not like he would enjoy suddenly being nice to others. So he wouldn't. He would just do it every now and then and stay out of trouble...That was all that was necessary. He stretched and got to his paws. "So, should I go hunt some more or something?" He asked with a twitch of his whiskers, his normal, uncaring tone to throw them off a bit. Yeah, that's right; he wasn't suddenly going to be all nice to them. Heck no.

"It ran across my path on the way here, so I nabbed it. I inspected it before bringing it here; Don't worry. It's not from Carrion Place." She strained her eyes to hear what Mallowroot had to say about the others, but all she could make out was 'kits' 'four' and 'Squirrelpaw'. "Erm... Pardon me, Mallowroot, but what about the kits? Heavykit is there too, right? And Squirrelpaw is fine?"

Mallowroot gave the warrior a quick nod. "Yes, Heavykit is doing well," he responded. "So is Squirrelpaw. That apprentice has quite a knack for hunting, you must have trained him well."

Stormkit came here with all of the cats from the clan, wondering where she was .

Blackpaw was standing behind Stormkit, looking around at the place they were. She didn't like it one bit. She let out a small sigh, and watched warriors talk. I wonder when we're going to leave. If we don't leave soon, i'll go find a place to live. She didn't want to live one day in this place. She felt insecure about it, and she didn't like that feeling.

Stormkit stared at her paws, bored. She wrinkled her nose at the stench comeing from the nearby thunderpath. Then she sneezed because of some dust that got caught in her nose.

As soon as cats appeared, Nightstar waved them inside, before turning to Mallowroot, concern scribing her face. "She gave birth right after we left?" It wasn't much of a question, more of an exclaim of shock. But not as loud. She glanced to the sky melting into dusk. Sighing, she closed her eyes. "Then we'll have to send a few warriors to get any kit ready to become an apprentice and Squirrelpaw. We will then leave a warrior or so to protect her and the kits. Once they are fit for travel, they are coming over here where it's safer." Her head turned to where she saw the warriors. "Redshade, Cormorantpelt!" She waved the warriors forward with her matted tail. Once they gathered, she continued. "Mistflower is in a cave not far from here with a new born litter. Cormorantpelt, I need you to guard the den from any predators." Without waiting for their responses, she motioned for them to hurry. "Go!"

"On it, Nightstar." She stood and darted out of the tunnel, turning back only to see if Redshade was following her. Once she was certain he was, she continued her sprint.
