Sunkit and Whinchatkit's Apprentice Ceremony

Littlelight stepped up and cleared his throat. Yet again, another ceremony. The deputy stood tall and looked around the Clan. "All cats old enough to hunt and catch their own prey, gather around for a ceremony!" he yowled.

Swifttalon bounded out of the shadows, and over to where Littlelight was. "Another ceremony?" he muttered. "Wow ..." He sat down,his ice-blue eyes staring at the deputy as his tail twitched impatiently.

Whitepaw sat down looking up at Littlelight.

rosepaw padded out of the clearing and sat down in the clearing. was this another apprentice ceremony? waiting for littlelight to continue, she sat with her tail excitedly twitching of excitement for her new denmates.

Whinchatkit slowly padded out of the nursery, ears pressed against her head in worry, she knew what this was, she heard that when kits were 6 moons, they were apprenticed, and she assumed that this was happening. The kits black and golden collar shone ever so lightly as she walked into the clearing, timidly sitting before the 'deputy'.

Snowfall came out of her den hopefully. "Maybe I can get an apprentice today..." She thought aloud hopefully. She deserved an apprentice. Hopefully her leader forgave her.

OOC;; This is RiverClan - not ShadowClan. Also... Littlelight is deputy. Wrong Clan, Snow. Just check real quick next time, but it's just a mistake. Be careful next time, that's all.

Beewhisker padded out of the warrior's den, summoned by the deputy. Silently, he took a place with the gathering clan. He looked up to Littlelight, wondering if he would get an apprentice. After all, he was free now that Swifttalon was a warrior.

Sunkit quickly trotted from the nursery, flinging his paws into the air. As he made his way over he held his head high. He knew this was his ceremony, it had to be his. When he got there he sat down, tail twitching side to side.

Littlelight set his warm gaze upon the two kits sitting in the crowd. "Today we are here to name two new kits," he mewed proudly, beckoning Whinchatkit and Sunkit forward. "Step forward," he meowed to the kits.

Whinchatkit timidly stepped forwards, timidly looking towards the deputy, looked like this was her 'apprentice ceremony.'

Sunkit proudly stepped forward, a bright smile on his face. He looked up to the deputy with a glimmer...no a flame of happiness and proudness.

Mistyflower was watching curiously from the warriors' den. I wonder who they'll be apprenticed to. Hopefully it'll be me and Swifttalon.

Littlelight turned towards the young she-kit. "Whinchatkit," he began, "from this day until you become warrior you will be known as Whinchatpaw, and I will act as your mentor," he announced, giving a nod to his new apprentice. Then he turned towards Sunkit. "Sunkit, until you become warrior, you will be known as Sunpaw. Mistyflower will be your mentor." He flicked his tail towards the she-cat. "She may have just had her ceremony not too long ago, but she's a great warrior, and we're proud to have her in the Clan. Mistyflower, I trust that you will pass on your knowledge and strength onto this apprentice."

Mistyflower padded up and touched noses with Sunpaw, pride in her eyes. I have an apprentice! She smiled at Sunpaw. "Ready for your first day as an apprentice?"
